Laura Montes: Nice little park for kids if youre in the area, especially if didnt take a car to the island and are waiting around for the ferry. The park had a basketball court, gymnastic bars, kids playground and small pavilion. I can see why its named sunken park.

Easton Dillehay: This is a small, but powerful museum. We very much enjoyed all three exhibits and the lady working the information booth was super friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a stop in when you’re on the islands. I wouldn’t recommend this place for small children.

M L: Wonderful experience learning about the history of San Juan Island! The main house was full of neat antiques and it felt as though you stepped right back in time. The new industry building is fantastic and full of fun facts. The people there were super sweet and accommodating! Highly recommend!
Turn Island Marine State Park - Friday Harbor
Turn Island Marine State Park
Shane Merritt: Turn Island is an awesome little state park tucked right next to San Juan Island. The access is only via boat and is a nice little get away spot. It has the feel of a hike/bike camp ground with a handful of spots along the west side of the island. The camping is CO-OPed by the fish and wildlife service and the WA state Parks and Rec commission. We stayed for two nights and had a very lovely time with a short hike around the island and all the beach you could explore. We also took our Kayaks around and saw many different sea life along the way.
