Darya Shestakova: Beautiful campground with breathtaking views. Its not too big/crowded, perfect for peaceful getaway. There are plenty of birds in the area, and we spotted orcas twice. There is no shower at the campground, but bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. Would definitely come back.

Edgewater Park - mount vernon - Mount Vernon
Imuya Dooley: I always forget how nice this park is! Great frisbee golf course, awesome playground, lovely walk! Negatives, if you’re coming from East side Mount Vernon during rush-hour, I imagine it’s a pain, and the playground has super fine mulch that is itchy, and their monkey bars need to be oiled, as they wobble and squeak.
Lions Club Roadside Park - Mount Vernon

Nathan Lauderdale: I love this park, theres two sides of it connected by an underpass. Theres plenty of room to let your dogs run a playground on one side in a disc golf course that runs through the entire park. There is access to the river but it is a bit tricky to get to. We saw that there was bathrooms but unfortunately there were some drug addicts with their cars parked there. Other than that it seemed like a safe environment to enjoy yourself.

Elizabeth Clubb: This is a great park for families and kids that want some easy hiking within a quick drive of the city area. It’s a mix of biking and hiking trails - all of them are clearly marked for who the trail is designated for. The views at the top are definitely rewarding!
Hidden Bay Lookout - Mount Vernon
Jewels Lutovsky: You can walk to this Lookout from from State Park. Just walk to the right on the beach after you park. Its not that far of a walk. Cool tower!
