JCPenney Salon - marysville - Marysville Garcia Garcia: Left feeling scammed and disappointed.
I came to this salon because of the online coupon but I was denied from using it because the stylist named Jenn cannot personally accept it. I have to mention that I didn’t get the chance to tell her I had one but because she saw me getting my phone ready rushed to tell me I couldn’t use any coupon due to her status. The coupon is “20% off w/ designer or senior designer” and apparently is a specialty stylist of some sort NOWHERE ONLINE SAYS SHE IS ANY KIND OF SPECIAL STYLIST EITHER. I was very caught off guard she had to repeat herself. So I wasn’t aware of any terms like this and this was the reason I came here, I explained this to her. She offered to get the manger to see if they could accommodate me, and here she comes 4 seconds after not even around the corner yet just blurting out how she can’t accept me either. I honestly feel it wasn’t only that they couldn’t accept it but more so Jenn wasn’t happy I wanted to use the coupon (she made it very obvious in her tone and expression) so the manger took her side because of it. I could get over the coupon but not the way I was being treated over it. No sympathy for the misunderstanding, no real apology. The manager wasn’t afraid showing she doesn’t care about a customer experience already with the way she approaches people. When I tried to express my disappointment and feeling of disrespect this manager was whipping a bag to reline a garbage. This is who runs your business?? You aren’t too worried about building clientele if that’s how you handle things. Big shame on the salon end of JC penny. The blonde manager there (if there’s more than one) AND Jenn are extremely unprofessional and absolutely do not care to be. beware.

Bellis Salon & Spa - Lake Stevens lyndia mitchell: As I have aged, I’m feeling invisible with my pale skin and white hair. With limited vision putting on eye make up is a chore I choose not to do anymore, making me look even more pale. So how about some eyelashes, that’s a good idea, right.i don’t have many and they are short. Natalie, my technician was right on time, meeting me with a warm smile. Okay, feeling more confident now.I complimented her eyelashes and told her I didn’t want that look, to much for me. She listened to what I wanted and holy smoke did she deliver! When she was finished and handed me the mirror to see if I liked them. AMAZING about covers it. Any opportunity I had to see a reflection of my new lashes, I took it. I’ve already made my second appointment. (Just call them if your technical skills are like mine.) More expensive than the five or more tubes of mascara I’ve purchased that only made my eyelashes look like a toddler put it on me., and I’m worth it.
Dolled & Dapper Salon - Snohomish Jackie Leathers: Update: Went a different direction today saw her for the first time in a year and a half and anothing amazing look love it. She doesnt BS and go over your ideas and make sure she gives you exactly what you want without comprising the integrityof your hair. I got my hair done by Danielle 5 days ago. I am a new client and now a returning client. Ive seen a number of stylist over the years and not that there were bad but you know when you find the ONE and She is the ONE! She not only listens but she doesnt do anything until she triple checks in with you to make sure you are still wanting what was discussed. She never assumes you are keeping with the same idea or concept you original discussed with her. Now after you leave a hair salon your hair always looks amazing and it did for sure. My tall tale if Im truly loving my hair is after i wash it and style it myself, cause i can never do it as well, it still looks amazing! THANK YOU DANIELLE! I cant wait to see you again.
Luxe Salon - snohomish - Snohomish Yashaswini A: This is a cozy, cute salon in downtown Snohomish and all the staff here are super nice! Annie especially is wonderful and I trust only her with my curly hair for the last 2 years. She knows how to handle curly hair and takes a lot of care in giving the perfect haircut.
Ulta Beauty - marysville - Marysville Lin C: This afternoon I decided to stop at Ulta as I was running low on my products, I came in with my work bag because it’s easy for me to put all my things in one bag. I also stopped at old Navy! However this time I felt so uneasy and such an uncomfortable feeling as I can tell I was being watched.
Let me say I had their shopping bag at hand & my work bag over my shoulder. I walked around xxx times because the same girl was following me. Another one came by me and stared and ask there more infamous question… “ you finding everything ok”. I go to the check out and place both of bag on top of the counter. I have the Ulta Credit Card and I have used it multiple times without ever showing an ID today. I had to show an ID with my credit card, not only that, but as she was putting my products inside the bag, she looked inside my bag first just to see if I had taken anything. I have never felt so uncomfortable and so at ease at a store in my entire life mind you it’s OK for us to take our bags inside the store. The cashier herself said yes it was a good idea to bring the bag that way I could put everything inside Then I corrected her and said no it’s not a good idea because your store employee followed me the whole entire time & she told me not to take a personal!! I honestly don’t know how a person will not take it personally as you know that you’re being followed in the store a store you so like so much and you give so much money to month after the month after the building points and I have a the store credit card!!! I shop for my family for myself!!! This was very uneasy and I hope I find another location to go to. Situations like this helped me to make a big decision not to shop in a store that makes you feel this way!!! Now I can pay off this card & never have to go there again!!!! Thank you made it very easy!!!! Please don’t comment with an apology because that could have been when I was at the store!!!!! My recommendation “Don’t shop here” !!!
Sport Clips Haircuts of Marysville - Marysville Andrew Lambert: Update 3/11/2025 Faith is the best !
Just had another fantastic haircut with Faith at Sport Clips! She always nails it with the quality and attention to detail, making sure my hair looks exactly the way I want it. Plus, shes super nice and pleasant to chat with. I always look forward to my haircuts with her. Highly recommend!
I am leaving a 5 star rating because Faith does a really good job on my hair. I have struggled through out the years finding someone who can cut my hair right and faith is one of them! She is very nice and friendly and I look forward to my hair cuts with her Everytime.
Great Clips - marysville - Marysville Trev: This location is more miss than hit. First of all, a cut costs $25, that’s a quarter of a hundred bill, and it’s only a haircut place, not even a barbershop. Second of all, it’s no longer standard to include a shampooing after the cut, thats an additional sum of money. So for the price of $25, you can get a very basic haircut, and be sent on your way with cut hair all over your face and body. To me that’s like doing a job halfway through. There is little to no effort made to clean a person up after a cut. For those reasons, I can no longer recommend Great Clips. You’re better off going to a real barber shop.
Also consider this, in India, one can get a haircut, a shampoo, a scalp and face massage, a shoulder massage, a razor fade, and a shave, for like $5. In America though, for five times that price, you get next to nothing, go figure.
Sisters Salon - Snohomish Mitzi Belem Moreno Reyes: I loved my bayalage, they added a treatment that left my hair beautiful, highly recommended and fair price. Ill be back soon for my touch-up.
