1 /5 Kendra Wines: I went to this emergency dentist April 27, 2025 Sunday morning first thing because I was having the worst pain in my life, shooting nerve pain in my right jaw and severe headache that I could not sleep at all the night before. They took an xray and tapped on some teeth then was told I needed a root canal with crown (approximately $5,000) or and extraction (approximately $600), I was not comfortable with this drastic of procedure by someone I didn’t know and declined. They gave me ibuprofen Tylenol antibiotic and medicated mouth wash. I had previously been to the dentist about 3-4 weeks before and had some fillings done in the same location I was having pain at, which I told everyone at the dentist that day. I visited my primary dentist first thing Monday morning and told them what had happened, their first comment was “did they check your bite?” Turns out a filling I had done at the previous dentist visit 3-4 weeks prior was sitting a little high which normally shouldn’t be a problem but I have been under an enormous amount of stress and clenching my teeth at night causing the pulp of my tooth to bruise and impact the nerve. They shaved down my filling and within 48 hrs I was 70% improved today is less than 2 weeks later and 100% improved no root canal needed. In a time of financial crisis in my life I broke down crying at the options I received from this place, when these options were not needed.
