5 /5 Jennifer Tivald: Marv was phenomenal! There was a mix up with my appointment, and he happened to have come in early that day and immediately got me taken care of. He offered a detailed and personal consultation that resulted in the best haircut I’ve ever had, perfect for my hair type and what I was looking for. Then Vanessa, his apprentice, took over and styled me up just right. She was super sweet and gave me an amazing scalp massage. Marv then even charged me a lower rate because the stylist I thought I booked is a lower level so he wanted to honor that. From start to finish I was pampered and taken care of, and left feeling fantastic. I felt like a celebrity! It was everything I could have asked for and more, I would 100% recommend the Hair Lounge.❤️

My hair is long, thick and dense so I knew my hairstyle of choice need a professionals touch. Miranda did a amazing job and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Hair came out perfect!

They did an amazing job correcting my color for a better price, and I’ve been loyal ever since. Now, I drive all the way from Monroe because the service is that good. Miranda is incredible—she knows exactly what to do with my hair, nails the color every time, and styles it beautifully. If you’re looking for a stylist you can trust, I highly recommend checking her out!

I talked to other salons and they didnt know what to do. The Hair Lounge talked to me about options and how to help. They were the best and reasonable prices too!

Katrina Thiessen: I wish I could give this salon, specifically Heather, more than 5 stars, this review is very overdue but I want to note that she is a phenomenal color master, plus the salon color educator, while simultaneously being very conscious of not compromising your hair. I appreciate the communication regarding price point for services and the fact she always keeps in mind what you want for your overall end hair goal, if it cant be accomplished in one session. Its been over a year of working with Heather to get back to blonde (I came to her with red hair!) after my hair was very damaged by previous color/products/neglect. Including pics of my color, that Heather has completed, and where I started with the red. Im always so happy when I leave Bella Red, thank you!!! Oh, side note, the gal she is training, I think her name is Emory, is equally fabulous and so sweet. They work together incredibly well as a hair duo/team and its really impressive to see such a strong and professional work ethic. Perhaps its also worth mentioning that I literally stalked peoples hair photos on Instagram for a solid year before committing to booking with Heather, my only suggestion would be, can you have the owner open an Olympia or Tacoma location? Until then Ill make the drive! Last two photos are where I started with color and very badly damaged hair, middle is current hair status. They are I believe an exclusive Bumble & Bumble salon plus clearly put a great deal of time and energy in perfecting color and cuts so obviously the price point is slightly higher than you might pay elsewhere but I think its worth every penny!

Kylene Ruark: I had the best experience at this salon! Everyone was very friendly. Jessica was so sweet to me and truly listened to what I wanted in my cut and color! She gave the best scalp massage as I got a wash. The shampoo and conditioner felt so amazing and smelled so good! My cut looks and feels so perfect. My first balayage and I’m so proud of it! Truly a wonderful experience for me. I felt very taken care of and love my new hair! The salon was so clean and tidy. I will forsure be back again!

Bean: Chris at Castaway did my bridal styling and gave me the most perfect soft, romantic style. My hair held up perfectly through an outdoor ceremony and I got so many compliments. Chris was an absolute delight, she was sweet and made sure to communicate throughout the whole process.

Kelly Nguyen: For the past few visits I’ve continually had to go back the next day for corrections whether it’s from the cut or color. I continue to go back to Helen bc it is familiar and close to my house. My cut this week is the final straw. She completely botched my hair cut making it significantly shorter than I asked. The style is not what I said either. She never once checked in to make sure we were on the right path. By the time she turned the chair facing the mirror, it was too late. I was shocked. I have two major work trips coming up and I am so embarrassed with how my hair turned out. I wish I could rewind the time and never have gone. End up paying full price for the wash and cut (45) for the worst experience I’ve ever had. There is no question I am taking my business elsewhere.
