5 /5 Etepa Maines: I’ve been in and out of the ER multiple times due to severe hypotension in my pregnancy. I’ve hated going in every single time because our entire trip takes about 3-4 hours for the same spiel. Vitals, fluids, do these things to help at home. But the staff have NEVER made me feel like an inconvenience for getting fluids and have taken the time to talk to me every time. They never assume that’s what I’m here for and take the time to access me every time. Now I regularly get fluids at the infusion center so no more late night ER visits. The staff at the infusion center are always happy to help and they ask about my toddler who sometimes accompanies me. Some of the nurses remember me from the ER visits and ask me how I’m doing now. I barely remember them but the fact that they remember me really shows how much they care about their patients.
