2 /5 Bonnette Alessandra “Ali”: Disappointing Experience at Landing Nails and Spa
I was a loyal customer at Landing Nails and Spa for about a year, initially drawn in by their affordable prices (under $50) and satisfactory quality. Their friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere made me a repeat customer. However, around 4 months ago, their service started to decline noticeably.
The quality issues were apparent and frustrating. My nails were inconsistent in length and shape, and one time, the nail tech rushed the gel nail polish drying process. As a result, the polish peeled off as soon as I got home, defeating the purpose of getting a gel polish in the first place.
To make matters worse, the customer service was disappointing. When I called to complain and ask how to fix the issue, they asked me to come back right away. I expected a solution or an apology, but upon returning, the manager surprisingly blamed me for the problem, claiming my hand wasnt positioned correctly in the dryer. This response left me feeling unheard and disrespected.
During my most recent visit, I was shocked to see a significant price increase. A basic fill, with no design, chrome or matte, cost almost $80. When I questioned the pricing, the manager became defensive and dismissive, even after I showed her my short nails. This price hike, combined with the decreased quality and poor customer service, made me realize it was time to take my business elsewhere.
The decline in quality, poor customer service, and price increases made my experience at Landing Nails and Spa disappointing. Unfortunately, I no longer recommend this salon.
