5 /5 Carson Schmidt: To start I was on my way home to Everett from Portland. As I was cruising on I5 my pickup started smelling hot so I limped off the freeway at the nearest exit when I realized that my serpentine belt was the cause of the smell. When I started trying to figure out what I was going to do I saw Lloyd’s auto clinic just up the road so I decided my best bet was to try to get to their shop. As I pulled into their parking lot my serpentine belt finally snapped. Despite it being a busy Friday afternoon, mechanics all busy, and the phones ringing off the hook I explained my situation and they dropped everything to get me back on the road. After replacing my belt, a faulty tensioner pulley, and a seized idler pulley I was able to continue my commute. The customer service at Lloyd’s auto clinic is top notch. I will recommend it to anybody in that area.
