Was very disappointed with the service from the CNA that day
No eye contact, very quiet voice. Took two prompts for her to increase her voice volume
Then the CNA insisted that I sit in the blue chair, yet I was comfortable in the grey chair
She informed that she could not take my blood pressure for 5 minutes if I got up and moved to the blue chair??? Why can’t she not take the blood pressure while I am sitting in the grey chair
Now the stare down , she would not move towards me
I was the better person
“Okay I will sit in the blue chair for the blood pressure only then go back to the grey chair”
Yes that works for me
After moving to the blue chair I roll up my sleeve for the blood pressure
Instead of completing the task , she decides to review my medication, allergy and medical history
“ no blood pressure only”
I can’t do that now waiting 5 minutes “
Okay I will now go back to the grey chair and wait 5 minutes there
CNA left room
New CNA arrived, blood pressure in grey chair
Never insist that patient has to do something
You are there to help the people of the community
