Museum of Illusions - Seattle - Seattle (WA)

4 /5 Annu Priya: Had an absolute blast at the Museum of Illusions in downtown Seattle. This place is perfect for everyone - children, teens and adults alike will find something fascinating. The optical illusions and interactive exhibits create wonderful photo opportunities, and the staff are always ready to help capture those photo worthy moments. While the space isnt huge, you can experience everything in about 30-40 minutes, and each exhibit is thoughtfully designed and presented. There are some small games as well that can be played in the museum. While the place gives a unique experience for a fun outing in the city, the admission price is slightly on the higher side.

4 /5 Jen Dimov: Cute and fun, staff is lovely. Some of the "illusions" have an annoying tendency to be labeled as "looks like X, but is actually Y!" when its clearly Y and trying to see X is harder, but this is a minority. Lots of kaleidoscopes, which are always fun. I thought the pyramid/cube display was especially striking.

4 /5 Brian Bales: This place was fantastic! I took my 20-year-old son there and we had a really good time the only reason it didnt get five stars because its really expensive! Considering its less than 90 minutes on average to get through and we took our time it was 37 plus dollars per ticket! I consider a movie equally as engaging and intriguing and mentally stimulating and I can do that for less than a third of the cost for 2 hours on average. That being said this was really cool and I would recommend doing it if you can afford it. Might I suggest they offer a matinee options in the same way movie theaters do to help accommodate others. This is an engaging thought-provoking fun experience for all ages. Also parking was another $15 on top of this about a block away

5 /5 John Sparks: What a fun place! Full of illusions the museum makes you a part of. The staff is super helpful and attentive, making sure you understand whats happening and get the full experience. They even take photographs of you in the illusion. Good for kids of all ages (Im 75). Young or old, we were all having a great time! They have a a good gift shop too, with some unusual things in it. Highly recommend for just about anybody.

4 /5 Anna Sherman: I have been wanting to go here for months and finally had the chance with my son. We laughed the entire time with our antics. It is pricey, so we stuck around and took advantage of what there was to offer. The staff was not only knowledgeable but helpful taking pictures and answering questions. I did appreciate how they assisted in advising on taking the best pictures...it is a museum of illusions, so you have to take lots of pics!!! I would have given the museum 5 stars but the price held it back.
