End of April through first week of May the park hosts the Apple Blossom Food Fair that includes live local entertainment and a beer garden. Gets very busy on weekends but very relaxed community atmosphere during the week. Art vending on the last weekend always has some wonderful artisans to support.
Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center - Wenatchee Kelsey Johnson-Schmidt: This museum is very nice. We were able to walk through it with in and hour. The 10 year old was able to find all of the scavenger hunt items and receive a cute prize. We went during summer camp, but it wasnt crowded at all. We also got the chance to talk with one of the exhibit creators, and they were kind and offered information on some new things they were putting up.
This is a great place to go learn about the local history of the area. It doesnt take too long, and it does hold the attention of a 10 year old. The price was also very in budget.

The structure is old and reminds of the old Camelot days castles and house combined. I find interesting the art area next to makes its a more peaceful setting
Rotary Park - wenatchee - Wenatchee CA Willoughby: Awesome park! It was being well used by people. Even had an intense game of Frisbee Golf going with a family. We were there to eat lunch, and it was nice. Very relaxing and fun to watch the kids and people with dogs playing. Will definitely return.
Saddle Rock Trailhead - Wenatchee Jacob Lowrey: Awesome hike. As other reviews mentioned, it is a little slippery. I strongly recommend good hiking boots at a minimum. Bring water, as the climb is short but constantly uphill. The views were worth it though! We took multiple breaks, and stopped to take photos and completed the hike from top to bottom in right at two hours
Horan Natural Area - Wenatchee Ian Phillips: I love the area. Such a nice place to walk and enjoy nature without many people and plenty of birding/wildlife sights and trail signs to see and learn from.
