My dental phobia, which can lead to me passing out during appointments, has been a significant challenge. This fear, coupled with my extensive travels, has led me to experience a wide range of dental practices across the East and West Coasts.
After thorough research among over 20 dentists covered by my insurance, I was drawn to Dr. Jorgensons office because of its glowing reviews. Initially hesitant due to the long wait for an appointment, I finally visited the office and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service from the moment I walked in. The staff greeted me by name and made me feel welcomed and guided throughout my visit.
The dental technician and Dr. Jorgenson himself were incredibly understanding and accommodating of my dental phobia. They went out of their way to introduce themselves, discuss my anxieties, and provide comforting options without any judgment. My experiences with the needle, which is my biggest fear, were handled with utmost patience and care, making me feel like the only patient in the office. Their empathy and understanding, including sharing personal phobias, helped ease my nerves significantly.
Overall, my experiences at this dental office have been outstanding, leading me to recommend them highly. Despite the initial long wait for an appointment, the quality of care and the attention to patient comfort are unparalleled. Ive now attended four appointments in as many weeks, including exams, cleanings, and fillings, and can confidently say these visits have been the best dental experiences Ive ever had.

I relocated a few years ago, making it about an hour and 40-minute drive to my appointments. Despite the distance, the exceptional service and care provided by this office and Dr. Jorgenson make the journey entirely worth it. This office remains a fantastic choice for anyone with dental anxieties.
The Local Dentist - bellingham - Bellingham Glenda Lozano: I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and quick to get me checked in, and the waiting area was clean and cozy.
Dr. Chaz, the dentist, was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me a clear understanding. It was evident that he genuinely cares about his patients well-being.
The office itself was modern and well-equipped, which made my appointment run smoothly and efficiently. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch dental care in a comfortable and friendly environment!
Love Dentistry - Bellingham Sophie Murphy: Ive never had such a positive experience at the dentist and am so lucky to have found Love Dentistry! Starting with the front desk team, Savannah and Kenna are always so friendly, helpful and approachable. I appreciate that they always remember my name whenever I go in! Anya is such a wonderful, gentle hygienist and makes the experience calm and enjoyable. Finally, Dr. Aimee is one of the most compassionate healthcare providers I have ever seen. She actually cares about my health and I truly feel like she has my best interests in mind. She takes the time to create a comfortable environment, clearly communicates treatment plans and acknowledges and addresses all concerns I may have. Bellingham Oral Surgery & Dental Implants - Bellingham luba: My son had an amazing and exceptional experience. From start to finish, the staff were super friendly. They communicated everything and are so caring. They took such an amazing care of my son. I highly recommend going to them if you need your wisdom teeth removed. My son had no swelling, no infections and no extra bleeding. They gave very clear instructions to follow and we did as they said and the results are amazing! Thank you. We really appreciate you!!

I was welcomed with a warm greeting from Nick at the front desk and was quickly whisked back by Katie for my Xrays and polishing/flossing. *The office is so clean and they use such cool technology!
Katie and I were joking around the whole time. Her happiness is infectious! The whole office was filled with joy and laughter, I’ve never had so much fun at the dentist.
Dr.Kalhan is super kind and made me feel just as safe and welcomed as Nick and Katie. As he was going over my Xrays he was honest about possible treatments I could choose from and wasn’t pushy at all about how I should move forward. He didn’t use fear mongering as a tactic of encouraging me into expensive unnecessary dental work. A breath of fresh air!! (Literally, lol) He was swift and thorough with his cleaning and made me feel so confident in my oral health.
So grateful I found my way to this office.

Roots Dental - Bellingham tcmauer: Had an amazing initial experience with Roots. The team is knowledgeable and took the time to explain my situation thoroughly and in a way that I could understand. At no point did I feel like a "customer" who was there to give them money, but an actual patient with my dental health as the priority. I was able to schedule a follow up visit promptly and look forward to a healthier smile and decades of ongoing quality care!
Unity Care NW - Medical & Childrens Dental (Bellingham) - Bellingham Jillian McDougal: I used to have really pleasant experiences with unity care but recently they really haven’t been good at all. The nurses have always been wonderful, and most receptionists, that’s why I have two stars instead of one. You can barely ever get unity care on the phone no matter how early you called and a callback can take up to two days and if you miss it, oh well. Be prepared to be on hold 45 minutes to an hour if you need an issue taken care of urgently. When I’ve had issues with either medical questions for my care team or billing I feel like I get passed around over and over again just to end up back in the same place. I’ve had four different primary cares in two years here because the doctors keep leaving. As someone with complicated conditions it’s not good to be passed from doctor to doctor. You call to make an appointment and that’s when you find out they’re leaving and they’ve placed you with some new person you’ve never met. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck but I can’t imagine I’ve had the only doctors leaving this place.
Bayview Dental - Bellingham Lexi: The best dentist I have ever been to with the most amazing staff. Jennifer is a beam of sunshine receptionist who is wonderful and Dr. Arasteh and Tara, my hygienist, are caring, warm, friendly, personable, do amazing work and are gentle! Ive had a lifetime of ortho work due to a 3rd degree underbite that needed upper and lower jaw surgery and used to dread more teeth appointments when I needed to go to the dentist. Ive been going here for 3? 4? years and always look forward to my twice a year visits. I am welcomed in with questions that follow up on things I was doing 6 months ago and have a painless, enjoyable experience (even when I had to get a cavity filled) with work that is top quality.
Vander Giessen Dental Care - Bellingham Dennis Bays: I woke up yesterday with a weird gap next to my gumline on one tooth. Hadnt been there even the night before (and (I wouldve noticed!) Called in as soon as they opened (8AM), and amazingly got an appointment for the same day (opening due to cancellation). Lance and his assistant diagnosed the problem, and worked through their lunch hour to begin repair. Very impressed with their expertise and "bedside" manner - and frankness and honesty.
