2 /5 Nuh Mukiibi: Decent place. They did the bare minimum of fixing my rare brakes that were so bad meaning the metal to metal issue was solved. Other issues emerged after their repairs, braking was slower and at 70mph theres vibration. The Vibration isnt due to braking. I tried explaining it to the good folks over there and they quickly pinned it on me for declining further diagnosis (costing more money) and how my brakes were really bad. Total cost for replacing rare brakes and lug nuts was a cool $1.5k.

1 /5 Chris: Brought my car in for a electrical diagnostic Fuel pump wound turn on… Thier diagnostic was bad gas . Fuel filter, gas fouled plugs . I never ask them to start it all I needed was a electric diagnostic !!! Do not recommend them for anything .!!! other then a jiffy lube. At best Stay away Do not deserve any star. Lesson learned

1 /5 Matthew Antonellis: Im adding my NEGATIVE review because its the only way to warn potential customers that Dave and Shelly will keep your money even when their service department cant do a simple brake replacement (rear brakes on my 2016 KIA Soul). As I began to drive the car home, I realized the brakes were much worse than before I brought it in, so I returned and they gave it another try. It seemed ok, but within one day I realized that I was just being optimistic; the brakes were terrible! So I took the car to the KIA dealership where I bought it, and they fixed the brakes properly. I contacted Dave and Shelly through their website, and havent had a reply. Nothing. Crickets. How about a refund for labor? Nope!

Recently, they inspected a couple cars I was thinking of buying, (the second inspection was free!) And they steered me away from making an costly mistake. I trust and value their expertise.

M&N Absolute Auto Repair - Everett

Gahlwat Prince: Extremely disappointed with M&N Auto Repair. I went to them with a sensor issue in my car, and instead of properly diagnosing the actual problem, they told me I needed major transmission work. They charged me $200 just to read an error code, which I later found out I could’ve gotten for free at any local auto parts store. The worst part? They didn’t even fix the issue. Just handed me the error and guessed it was a transmission problem. No real solution, no fix—just a waste of money. I ended up going to another mechanic, and they diagnosed and fixed the issue in just 40 minutes. Turns out, the problem was just a small seal that needed to be replaced—nothing even remotely related to the transmission. This shop clearly lacks the proper knowledge and professionalism, and I feel completely ripped off. I do not recommend this place at all. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Conaway Motors Inc - Everett

Ha Travis: Conaway motors worked in my Audi s3. After many hours of tearing it apart and trying to fix it myself, I accepted defeat and towed it to Conaway. They were fast. Took 2 days to diagnose, and 2 days to get it done. I had originally figured there was water in my fuel and thought I got it all out, but when Conaway took it, they diagnosed it with the same issue and cleared my tank + crankcase correctly. Eric, the tech who worked on my car was extremely knowledgeable and had great customer service. Had a great conversation with him over the car and he was super helpful. Told me exactly what he did. My float on my fuel pump was even broken (I told him dont worry about it), but he even fixed it for me when he took the fuel pump out. Along with adding a clamp to one of my loose hoses. And then told me other little things about my car just to make sure I knew about them Broken plastics/supports etc). Overall, was worth my money and great experience. They know what theyre doing for sure. Adding on to that, Logan was super nice over the phone and even though I was being a pain in the butt, he stayed professional and reassured me. They did a terrible job on my car and when I called them out, they became extremely rude and argumentative and blamed it on the fact that they installed a used part. I had to take my car back the same day after I picked it up due to a wiring issue which they claimed they have never touched but were doing me a favor and "fixed" it. The owner and employees are very sketchy and dishonest. On my last visit to this place I was so frustrated with the situation (taking my car back for the 3rd time on the same week) that the front desk employee didnt take kindly to me listing all my complaints in front of other customers (reinstalling the wiring harness, they routed it entirely incorrectly. None of the factory mounting points were used to secure the wiring harness away from hot and/or moving objects, leaving the harness taut against the side of the engine, which is a fire hazard. the car was able to be started in any gear Park, Neutral, Reverse, Drive) he asked us to leave and to expect a call from the shop owner. The shop owner called me later just to verbally harass me and demanding an apology from me. I took my car to a transmission shop for an evaluation just to confirm the multitude of issues they have created, the poor work quality and strongly suggested to never take my car or any other car to Safety Auto Repair. I have mailed a demand letter asking for a refund which they refuse to issue. I have filed a complaint to the Washington State Attorneys General office and to the BBB. Most of the 5 star reviews here are fake. Just go somewhere else!

Completed our routine 100K tune up with the added recommendations from their free inspection. The car was done in two days, with consistent updates along the way. Its been 4 days; no lights have come on, car is running smoother and quieter. Will definitely return to this honest, simple, family run business. Highly recommend.

Chris Young: Dishonest business. I called them with an electrical issue for my truck. I knew what the issue was and explained in detail. They confirmed they could do the repair. After dropping off the truck, they called and said "turns out we cannot complete the repair and you will need to go to the dealership." They then charged me $200 to get my truck back despite doing no work and only confirming the issue I already knew I had. The issue they said they could fix. They lied about their capabilities and then held my truck ransom until I paid. Avoid this business. Update to Hilltops response (4/3): I specifically said on the phone it was the "body control module". I gave you the specific part & vehicle. You said "We cannot fix the water leak, but we CAN fix the electrical" so I brought it in. Then you called me later and said you cannot, but still charged me. If you know you cannot fix something specific ahead of time, you should be upfront about that instead of luring people into your shop under false pretense.
