HT Nail Bar - Tukwila Rita Ariel: So I haven’t had my nails done in a salon in nearly a decade. However it’s my birthday this week and a friend recommended this place to me so I asked for the spa manicure. I brought my own nail polish because gel is hard on my nails. I had pictures of exactly what I wanted but I walked away so unimpressed and upset! I splurge very rarely, so when I pay $60 for a manicure I expect it to be perfect. It was not. Polish is gummed up around the cuticles, on my skin, bubbling, and not even totally covering my whole nail on some fingers. I will literally have to touch up my nails when I get home and it’s so frustrating.
The entire time I kept trying to gently correct the nail tech and ask for them to fix and I could tell they felt I was making a fuss but I work hard for my money! When I paint my nails, I’m neat and careful. When I pay for a professional manicure, I want them to look like a professional manicure. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because my nail broke and they did a good job with the nail extension.
