1 /5 Rachel Mercado: I went in for a consultation and everyone was kind. I wanted to have a lesion removed from my inner cheek, just a quick 15 min procedure, so they set me up with an appointment about 3 weeks out. It is now 2 days before the appointment and I just received a call asking if I would like to move my appointment time up two hours earlier. I declined because I work full time and had made arrangements at my workplace to get that specific time frame off from work. The lady who called me then informed me that she was cancelling my appointment because they do not want to have gaps in their schedule. So basically their inconvenience is now my problem. I feel that this is very unrealistic and a poor way to do business. People have jobs, make arrangements for childcare, ect, and PNW Oral Surgery feels that they can just cancel appointments so they are not inconvenienced. To me, this communicates a lack of care and understanding for patients. They want people to respect their time, but they do not respect others time.
