From the minute, you walk into the office from the front desk receptionist, Donna, Gabby, Julie the dental hygienist, who is extremely thorough and very kind, explaining everything you need to know about good dental care, to Dr. Hanks, who I owe a debt of gratitude for all his exceptional work and kindness, including working you in for emergencies. The whole office is so kind and helpful. You feel like you’re right at home with family. Definitely they are the best Dental Group and all of Bellingham! Hands-down the best.!!!

5 /5 Gloria Shportko: I came a few weeks ago for a cleaning and I was warmly greeted by the front desk aka Donna. She asked me how my day was and was super kind. Then i met my hygienist Julie for my cleaning. She was very thorough, explained what she was doing, and explained home care. Truly felt cared for. She helped me book my next cleaning as well. On the way out Michelle printed me a card with the date of my next appointment and chatted a little about our days. Overall my experience was wonderful. I felt cared for and educated!

5 /5 AJ: The whole staff is phenomenal. Very professional, friendly, and helpful. I have had a few fillings done by Dr. Von Hanks and they went well. They remember me and my partner and are excited when we come in, being remembered and having small talk makes some appointments feel more like a fun trip than a scary chore!

Due to the impending snowstorm and the 4–6 inches of compact snow and ice already at my home, I called the afternoon before my appointment to leave a message letting them know I wouldn’t be able to make it. I was trying to be proactive and responsible given the conditions. Despite this, I was charged a $100 no-show fee. I was told their staff were able to make it in (which is great), but there was little understanding or flexibility regarding my situation. This was the first time I had to cancel, and I was hoping to reschedule—but the lack of accommodation has unfortunately led me to take my business elsewhere.

All in all, this office sets the standard for what dental care should be. If you’re looking for a root canal specialist, I can’t recommend them enough.
