Friday morning the polish was chipped and had lines in it like Id gone to sleep with wet polish! Ill go somewhere else or do my own. Maybe it would be better if they werent overbooked?
American Nail & Spa - Anacortes Joi Lee: My Mom and I tried pedicure here. The gals never talked to us, except for when we asked them what their names were. I rate them a c- due to they just do basics. Also, we had no idea of the prices, nothing was posted or us given a menu of services. It was quick and hurried us out. We will be trying out other nail salons in Anacortes!
Nail therapy - Anacortes Kristina Fields: I adore my friends at Nail Therapy. Dianna is just a lovely lady and her nails are strong and last. Her last two creations are my fave! Meaghan is also a doll and does my pedicures and steps in to help fix or do a design or two! It’s a lovely and fun little shop that cares about their clients. I’ve been going here since they opened and Dianna and Meghan are gems!
Enhance Beauty and Nails - Anacortes Alexandra Moorhead: Came as a walk in from out of town. Everything was very clean and well done. I could definitely see being a regular if I lived here. I had a manicure and full pedicure with gel.
Fidalgo Nails - Anacortes Alyssa Klaister: I’ve gotten my nails done here a handful of times and each time I am sorely disappointed. Not only do my nails always look sloppy after (bumpy, inadequately filed and painted nails that look two weeks grown out when she finishes and bleeding cuticles), but she overcharges me every time and argues when I politely question it and point at the price chart. I’m usually waiting 20-40 minutes too, even with an appointment. Don’t waste your time or money here.
The Apothecary Spa - Anacortes Justin: This place is amazing! Very kind and knowledgeable staff, wonderful steam room and waiting area. Very peaceful serene experience from beginning to end. 5 out 5 stars!!
Waterleaf Spa & Fitness Center - Stevenson A Murray: I had a wonderful experience with a message by Alison. She was attentive to my needs and requests and made me comfortable.
The only reason for the 4 stars is because I feel like the whole “spa experience” is completely forgotten by hotel management. Upon checking in I was led to a locker room with a robe provided. However I didn’t not receive any slippers or a towel (I like to shower before massages). The massage products were unlabeled and unscented. The music and atmosphere of the room were nice.
After the massage I showered and the body wash container was empty. Again. No name products. No water dispenser for guests to drink after sauna/jacuzzi/treatments. Additionally the sink area looked like one you’d find in a public gym.
A bit of care and attention to the space would go a long way for guests experiences.
For such an expensive massage I would have expected more from the establishment.
The nail bar - Everett Kassandra Bauer: Rania is amazing!! She’s so friendly and welcoming. I’ve always had very brittle nails that were impossible to grow and thanks to Rania they are looking healthy and long! She has high quality products and so many colors to choose from!
Sunshine Nail & Spa - Everett Roar Albright: My nails look fabulous! My sister has been going here for a while and I finally went. Everyone is so nice. Tina did my nails and she was excellent. It had been a while since I had gotten my nails done and she did an excellent job. The flowers she did are perfect. Eden did my toes and she was so gentle but got everything very good. I would definitely recommend to anyone and will be going back soon!
