3 /5 Ava Ford: Back in October, I had an appointment to get my hair done and I was super excited! Especially because I always hear amazing things about Salt and wanted to try it out! But I unexpectedly got summoned and then chosen to be on the board for Jury duty, the day I had my appointment. I called the day prior to the final day of selection (this was on day 2 of going through selection and somehow I wasn’t dismissed yet lol) and I let the front desk know that I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to make it to my appointment the next day. Jury duty is something that is a day by day process and I couldn’t get it waived, so I had to abide by what the judge wanted. The response that I received from the front desk was that regardless of jury duty or not, I was going to be charged for half of the service because I called 24 hours prior. I’m not upset about the 24 hour rescheduling/cancellation fee (because it makes sense and I totally get it!!) but I was just shocked to find out that jury duty isn’t an exception even with documentation, when jury selection dates and decisions are out of my control. Overall, I was super bummed and didn’t end up rescheduling due to my schedule that was busier than usual the next few weeks. I really do hope to schedule again sometime and experience the goodness at Salt! I was a bit nervous to leave a review about this instance, but I figured I would just in case others have thoughts regarding jury duty or similar experiences. I hope to schedule soon :)

5 /5 Sheryl Beck: I love Salt! I have been patronizing this business for several years at this point and have consistently had a fantastic experience! The staff is fantastic. Their commitment to additional training means they are always growing in their knowledge and skill which makes Salt an excellent choice, for both classic looks and trendy cuts and colors. Salt is also staffed with really great people! You walk in a client and walk out as a friend. The salon itself is a clean and beautiful place where youll be offered coffee, tea or champagne to support your self-care experience. Now for the service. My hair ALWAYS looks beautiful when I leave the salon. Ive been a curly long-haired brunette, a bobbed blond and a bunch of things in between and every phase has been gorgeous! Long story short; I cant imagine trusting my hair to any other salon. Im Salty for life!

5 /5 Megan Suter: I had a great consultation and cut with Gabby. She spent a long time with me and I never felt rushed. She made my fine, wavy, mid-length hair look amazing and gave excellent advice for how to keep it looking that way between cuts. I’ve been looking for a good salon in Olympia and I’m happy to have found one!

2 /5 Joseph and Frank: I have gone here multiple times, and EACH time, they do NOT listen to what you say. For example, I said I want to LEAVE my bangs long. Now that should mean do not cut them, but she took my 6 inch bangs and made them 3 inches!! I do not recommend this place, pass it by!! I tried twice, disappointed both times, different "stylist" each time, did not help.

5 /5 Naome Young: Gabby is the Best. I came in with long, dry and damaged hair. She was so caring, wanting to make sure I got the exact cut I wanted. She informed me of all the products she used (which I will be getting from here from now on) took her time and in the end gave me a beautiful cut. I came here for a new me as part of a weightloss journey and had the best experience from the minute I scheduled my appointment to when I walked out the door. I will definitely be coming back for my highlights. This salon is beautiful, clean and friendly. I highly recommend. Thank you
