  • What Clients Are Saying about Skagit Valley Baptist Church (on GG)
5 /5 Jedediah Nelson: Amazing church. I came here not knowing what it was like to be apart of a true church family that cares for God first and each other second. It’s been nearly 4 years and I’ve grown in so many ways, and am excited to be apart.
5 /5 Ray Ortiz: Thankful for this church and their love for the Lord and getting the gospel to all people.
5 /5 Judy Cookson: November 2020 - I just started going to this church 4 weeks ago. I like everything about this church: the pastor is not afraid to guide us through Gods word how we should live our lives as born again Christians. He also has a sense of humor. I like a smaller church, one service, only piano and singing for music, no drums and loud music. Updated May 2022 I now have been at this church for 18 months and I love this church!! We are like a family and it is so heartwarming to be a part of it. Gods word is preached, we have beautiful music, friendly people, fun gatherings, we help each other out, we pray for each other. God is blessing this church. Come join us.
1 /5 Tiffany Bransdorf: Doesnt know how to respect personal boundaries. Left a flyer on my door that had NO SOLICITING clearly posted. Absolutely no excuse.
5 /5 Kate Nims: After being away from church for 26 years I began attending SVBC in August 2020. I was warmly welcomed and feel at home. I enjoy hearing the word straight from the Bible and the fellowship. It is great to see young people in this church. And did I mention the music here is beautiful and uplifting. We are blessed.

Valerie Hunt: Our experience at the Trinity Anglican Church in Mount Vernon, WA has, for 8 years, been very positive. Though of small numbers, the worship service provides bible-based, spiritually sound doctrine, a fellowship of faithful, loving and supportive believers and exceptional musical enhancement. Musical professionals enhance most of our services - with strings, organ, trumpet, trombone and voice. The Peterson Conservatory of Music Academy and the Brass Menagerie Brass Quintet share our facility and participate in concerts and other church-related occasions. We enjoy a monthly Dinner Club hosted by our members, and we coordinate an annual Tribute to the Troops event to honor our military and their families. We extend a warm and friendly welcome to visitors from all walks of life.

I love the warmth and the Saviors embrace as I sit, listen and participate in Sacrament and class. Our Savior Is my rock and he stands beside me daily and I may not see him but I definitely know he is with me every minute of the day.

    S. Raea “Rev.”: Absolutely wonderful love-filled community. Perfect place to explore for those who consider themselves "Spiritual Not Religious", Agnostic, Searching/Seeking, on a spiritual journey, or anything of the like... I call CSL the church for people who dont like church. Before deciding that "church" simply isnt your jam, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Youll find love here. Kindness. Goodness. Selflessness, and true compassion. These are people putting love in action. See you soon!

Brandon Ahrens: This is a great group of people who are just trying their best to follow Jesus and to do what he says in the Bible. There are lots of activities, some service projects, and lots of genuine worship to God. One thing that I really appreciate about this church is that the worship doesnt feel like a show or production. Its deep, sometimes a little awkward, but full of smiles and enjoyment. Two of the most important things to my wife and I with any church are: 1) do we feel welcome? 2) are we growing in our faith/relationship with God. Id say we definitely encounter that.
