  • What Clients Are Saying about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - mount vernon (on GG)
5 /5 Benjamin Samora: I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1983 and I love the Spirit I feel when in the building. I love the warmth and the Saviors embrace as I sit, listen and participate in Sacrament and class. Our Savior Is my rock and he stands beside me daily and I may not see him but I definitely know he is with me every minute of the day.
5 /5 Lee Salazar: Peaceful and uplifting! Meetings are Sundays at 9am and 12pm. Visitors are very welcome! The first part of the service is focused on the sacrament and remembering Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. After that, 2–3 members of the congregation share prepared sermons, followed by a gospel class. There are classes for children, youth, and adults. Each children’s class has two responsible adult teachers who have completed a comprehensive child and youth protection program. We feel very safe taking our son, and he loves the songs and lessons! We also love the gospel class! It’s always uplifting and helps us draw closer to Christ. We look forward to going every week!
5 /5 L G: Was readily welcomed into the community here 9 years ago. Now our congregation is a strong mix of English and Spanish speakers - all trying to live the two great commandments to love God and love our neighbors.
5 /5 Diane Green: I have been a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life. It has brought me joy and peace. I love associating with the people and the faith we share in our Savior Jesus Christ. I highly recommend coming in and attending our services.

S. Raea “Rev.”: Absolutely wonderful love-filled community. Perfect place to explore for those who consider themselves "Spiritual Not Religious", Agnostic, Searching/Seeking, on a spiritual journey, or anything of the like... I call CSL the church for people who dont like church. Before deciding that "church" simply isnt your jam, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Youll find love here. Kindness. Goodness. Selflessness, and true compassion. These are people putting love in action. See you soon!

Brandon Ahrens: This is a great group of people who are just trying their best to follow Jesus and to do what he says in the Bible. There are lots of activities, some service projects, and lots of genuine worship to God. One thing that I really appreciate about this church is that the worship doesnt feel like a show or production. Its deep, sometimes a little awkward, but full of smiles and enjoyment. Two of the most important things to my wife and I with any church are: 1) do we feel welcome? 2) are we growing in our faith/relationship with God. Id say we definitely encounter that.

Gay Inu: As a member of BLC being a Lesbian and a Christian I have never been to a more loving church in my 26 years of living, Burlington Lutheran Church is my home away from home and its people are my family. Our favorite thing is loving our neighbors and sharing Gods everlasting love. I also love singing with the Choir and sharing sharing signs of peace during service to remind everyone that they are welcome and loved. Thank you for being so all inclusive, and helping me to love myself again too.
