5 /5 Angie Kennedy: Was recommended here by a friend after a lifetime of experiences at various other salons left me feeling bad about my hair any time I’d get it cut. My hair is long, thick, wavy, full - always takes more time than anticipated, even after I’d learned to mention this when scheduling somewhere. Not this place! I’ve had a few different stylists cut my hair since I’ve been coming here over the years & each one has done such a great job. I’ve never once felt like my stylist was frustrated because my hair was more work & time than they’d anticipated. I’ve never left with wet hair because the stylist ran out of time after washing and cutting. I’ve never left feeling guilty about booking my next haircut because my hair takes time & work. I leave here feeling great every single time I come in. Kasey, the owner, is wonderful. I can’t imagine going elsewhere.

4 /5 Sarai Israel: I called on Sunday December 1st and asked if they could get my mom in. They were busy which was fine so we asked to be scheduled. I specifically said she needed a master stylist which is listed on their website because she has very fine hair and rarely gets somebody who knows how to cut her hair. The lady said all of her stylists would be able to do it after explaining the length and texture. Fast forward to today which is Thursday. My mom arrived at 6pm for her appointment. Half way through my mom starts to realize the lady cutting her hair isnt very experienced so she asked her "how long have you been cutting hair?" She told her shes only 8 months out of school and been there for 3 weeks. My mom said, no offense but I asked for a master stylist specifically because I have hair thats not easy to cut correctly. She then called me and her hair looked like it hadnt even been cut. I said "she needs layers" and the stylist said "well if she doesnt style it every day the layers wont look good." I use to cut hair so I know that isnt true, you just have to blend them well. My mom finally had enough and told her it didnt look right and she went and got the owner to "fix" it. It took them 2 and a half hours for a wash and cut which is how long it takes somebody still in school doing their first cuts. I will post the pictures below of what we asked for and what she got. Its reprehensible to not only not do what we asked which was for a master stylist, but then to proceed to play in my moms hair like it will just grow back the next day. If you didnt have availability for a master you could have said that and we would have booked elsewhere. I could have done what they gave her for free which is just a blunt cut with a terrible fringe (bang) cut. They need to refund my mom or fix her hair with somebody who actually knows how to cut fine hair and that understands face shape and hair textures. Your job as a stylist is to help your client understand what they need more then what they want but at the very least know how to give them what they request or say "sorry we dont have a stylist that can do this." Do Better! Update: They invited my mom back and fixed her hair. It looks so much better and very similar to the Picture. I appreciate business that take accountability and fix their mistakes. My mom loves her hair.

5 /5 Kimberly Patterson-Hyatt: This review is for Hannah specifically, but I’ve been coming to this salon since I moved back to WA in 2019, and KC the owner (and her family owners), are all the things you want in a business owner. Back to Hannah… she is likely the best hair stylist I’ve had from. New York to LA to SF to Seattle, hands down. she can do so many things from dying my hair, coloring my hair, braiding my hair, adding extensions to my hair, and repairing my hair to name a few. Easily manages bi-racial hair or curls (from core and thick and tight to find and delicate and loose). She cares, really listens, has teacher status skills with appropriate levels of humility collaboration, is willing to share the steps so you’re informed, and welcomes input. She also manages all the anxiety that come with a person who’s had bad hair experiences in the past. Right now, she has me at copper (which two prior senior stylist couldn’t achieve) with beautiful dimension and, my hair is almost as healthy as when it was a virgin (it’s been a long time). I’m trying to grow my hair, but we know that means the dreadful trimming, and she’s really careful and informative through the process. Finally, she’s a flexible hairstylist, meaning, she is willing and able to use different strategies to get you to your results, which is important depending on your hair type, its condition, special requests, or goals. I’m learning new ways of managing my hair and it’s a game change. Beyond being highly competent, she’s fun, creative, and loving. After my appts, I feel beautiful on the outside and recharged on the inside. My fiancé uses her too. She my hair’s therapist!
