5 /5 Marcus Overstreet: I visited here in mid to late June for a vespers service because I was in town for work. I called because I didn’t know if they had service that evening. I was surprised that the parish priest answered the phone immediately. He was very kind and very invested in me as a person which made me feel welcome before I even attended the service. He told me that they were having a readers’ vespers since there was no priest in town that week. I was also shocked at how many people showed up on a Wednesday night vespers service (especially since it was without a priest). The service and atmosphere were beautiful and after service one of the members and I spoke for about an hour and a half about the Lord. I was very blessed to have been able to go. Anyone inquiring into Orthodoxy or visiting from out of town would be blessed to attend. Next time I’m in town I’ll come back Lord willing. :)

5 /5 Dustin Sikstrom: Come and see! After years of struggling through protestant churches that were always trying to reinvent the wheel, Im so glad the Holy Spirit led me to Orthodox. Truly, the Orthodox Church is built on a foundation of rock and contains the fullness of the faith that Christ gave to the apostles. This parish is extremely visitor friendly and I can guarantee on your first visit youll be welcomed with open arms.

As people chase the dragon in their lives attempting to fill an insatiable void, due to spiritual bankruptcy, Orthodoxy is the oasis in the desert of our lives. It’s the hospital which heals both soul and body and is as practical today as it was 2000 years ago at Pentecost. The Liturgical calendar of the Church guides each one of us throughout the year and takes away the responsibility of figuring out what to do, all a person needs is to show up. Come and see! Experience a form of worship which may seem foreign at first, but very quickly becomes very familiar.
