Someone needs to UPDATE this listing because while it was founded by Rev Roy Ayers as: Unity Church of Today, Mount Vernon, it is now dba: UNITY SKAGIT VALLEY...Also: the old building has been updated in so many ways. The new Minister first spoken at the USV in July 2012, and began full time on November 11, 2012, so Wednesday, 11/11/2015, should be a big Celebration for everyone, as well as a holiday.. Reverend LINDA SPENCER is an amazing woman, a fantastic speaker, a very inspiring teacher, and an accomplished counselor. With 40 years experience as a Minister, she was wanting to retire. But, did not, and now inspires people every Sunday and many times in between, If you want something refreshing and uplifting, come on Sunday at 11:00AM, enjoying the Service and Music, but remain, because the food afterwards is worth the trip. Somehow, the delicious food and beautiful flowers happens every Sunday by a Caring Loving Congregation.. . .

Brandon Ahrens: This is a great group of people who are just trying their best to follow Jesus and to do what he says in the Bible. There are lots of activities, some service projects, and lots of genuine worship to God. One thing that I really appreciate about this church is that the worship doesnt feel like a show or production. Its deep, sometimes a little awkward, but full of smiles and enjoyment. Two of the most important things to my wife and I with any church are: 1) do we feel welcome? 2) are we growing in our faith/relationship with God. Id say we definitely encounter that.
