James Miller: Great repair shop strait shooters. I love to support local shops like this. Great team great communication can work you in if you can leave vehicle with them which is awesome. Will use parts you supply.
Central Avenue Automotive Inc - Kent
Stephen W Carroll: We have been going to Central Ave Auto for years and are very happy we found them. They are honest and their mechanics are highly trained. I highly recommend this shop. We were told our car had an oil leak by another shop and when we took it to Central Ave Auto they told us it was caused by someone overfilling our oil.
The Fast Auto Mechanic - Kent
    The Fast Auto Mechanic
Shirley Feuu: Hector is really a stand up great guy! After a failed run with a different mechanic I found Hector through the nextdoor app. He was very professional and prompt. He came to diagnose a coolant issue with my BMW. After agreeing for him to do the repairs he sent me links to the parts I needed to order right away. He communicated a day and time that worked for us both and for the repair he kept me informed on all steps showing pictures of the before and after. Answered all questions I had. I am definitely going to call him for all my vehicles. He’s trustworthy, very reasonably priced, and honest which is hard to find in mechanics.

    Saggu Automotive Repair - Kent
Derrin Harvey: Saggu has very good mechanics and their prices are fair. One piece of advice is hire someone to answer the phone and make reservations. Offer you will call and the phone will ring and ring and ring and ring and no one will pick it up, which is bad. I have nothing but good things to say about these people and if you can get them to pick up the phone or if you just need to stop by and see them, which is what I think they prefer. It’s a great company to work with.
    Immense Auto Repair - Kent
Kenia Medina: Have been using Ismael as my mechanic for many years now! Very professional, I can always trust that my car is in good hands. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great mechanic.
East Hill Auto Services - Kent
Chio S: Hands Down the Best Mechanic Shop Around! I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff who genuinely care about their customers. They took the time to explain everything clearly, gave me an honest estimate, and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. The work was done quickly and professionally, and my car has been running perfectly ever since. It’s hard to find a shop that’s trustworthy, transparent, and affordable — but this team checks all the boxes. Whether it’s routine maintenance or major repairs, this is the only place I’ll take my vehicle from now on. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality service and peace of mind! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
    Automotive Experts - Kent
Rocky Chenaux: Automotive Experts did a complete motor replacement for me a few months back they did a fantastic job. Im very happy with their work and highly recommend them. The starter they installed at the time of the engine repair failed and the just did a warranty replacement on the starter. They got the starter and replaced it right away. They kept me informed nd like I said, they do great work. 5 stars no joke!
    Extreme Auto Works - Kent
    Extreme Auto Works
kai has: Avoid This Shop at All Costs!! I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. A few months ago, I took my 2007 Infiniti G35S to Extreme Auto Works for an engine replacement. I initially spoke with Cal, who quoted me around $5,800, and we agreed on a 3-week timeline. During the few initial calls, I mentioned wanting a lower-mileage, good-running engine to replace the blown one. The final price came to $6,500, which I was fine with and fully understand small outside costs. However, things went downhill fast. Before I went to pick up my car, I was told by an associate on the phone that the engine had a clacking noise at certain RPMs. They couldn’t tell me where the engine came from, but mentioned on the phone it was from B&R Auto Wrecking or some sort of junkyard. The issue was said to be with the timing chain tensioner but there was no check engine light and I was given two options: a warranty with a $1,500 refund (~$5,000 out of pocket) or paying an extra $2,000-$2,500 to fix the issue, bringing the total to atleast $8,500. I decided to take the car home without further work done. Upon picking it up, the car wouldn’t start due to a dead battery. After charging the battery, and taking it home I found that a check engine light was on—likely not initially on because the car had been dead when I picked it up. The code was for camshafts positioning sensor errors. As a full time working student within the engineering field and a mechanical background, I decided to remove the timing cover and found serious issues. The timing parts (tensioners) were within spec, but the engine showed signs of poor maintenance—oil sludge, clogged galleries, and stained parts. With this in mind, the engine looked like it had very high mileage or was previously poorly maintained, which would have been obvious with proper inspection. I discovered that the VVT sprockets, which are crucial and cost $1,800 in parts to replace, had been starved of oil due to sludge and old gasket buildup within the galleries. Despite my best efforts to clean and flush the engine, the issue persists. Now the car sits in the same condition the shop left it. In short, Extreme Auto Works sold me a poor-quality engine and did not inspect it properly before installation. I wish I had known this earlier, as I now have a totalled car and wasted thousands of dollars. I’ve tried to contact Cal and Extreme Auto Works for details on the engine’s mileage, but of course, I’ve received no response. If you (Extreme Auto Works) are reading this review I would still like these pieces of information about the engine. Thanks, Kai H.
