Jason di Avani: I almost never write reviews, but the haircut I received here was so careless and poorly done that I had to warn others. The stylist was at the end of her shift and completely butchered my hair. Unfortunately I didn’t identify the full extent of her butchery until after I got home… Different lengths all throughout, no attempt to blend, just absolutely careless. She charged me $45 (a premium price for a man’s cut) for the worst haircut I’ve ever received; now I have to pay someone else even more to fix it as best they can.
Andrew Briceno: Ive been getting my hair cut by Sarah from 48th Ave for about 8 years. Since it was 24th ave cuts by safeway on knob hill. Highly recommended. Just call in advance!
Jason Fajardo: Literally charged double for asking to trim a little more off the hair. Ridiculously poor service and unprofessional. Would give 0 stars if possible.
Angela Villegas: If I could rate it 0 stars I would! My dad went in to ask the owner if she had any appointments available and from the get-go she was VERY RUDE. My dad was wearing a face mask and she didn’t even let him get a word in before she told him “take your mask off”. I understand she has a right to refuse services to whomever she’d like but there is a right and a wrong way to word things and you would think because she’s a business owner and has been in the service industry for a long time she would know how to speak to people but clearly she does not. We have never gotten treated like this at any establishment in Yakima so we were very upset when the owner of this salon treated us like garbage. For your own good please refrain from going to this salon! The owner is incredibly rude and has absolutely NO customer service skills. 0/5 stars!!!!
Heather VanAntwerp: Rihana is awesome! She was honest with me about how much length needed to be cut off and I’m glad she did. My hair has never felt so healthy! You also can’t beat the prices here. Will be back for regular maintenance and definitely asking for her!
Ashley Cooley: Got my hair cut and eye brows waxed today by Mia and the service was amazing! She brought my hair back to life and cut enought to get my hair back to healthy looking! And my eyebrows havent looked so good in a long time!
Angela P: Our kids love Monkey Doos! They both actually got their first haircuts at the old location a few years ago, and they always ask to come back. The stylists are great with kids and remain patient, even when the little ones get restless.
Its a kid-friendly environment, with cute monkey decorations everywhere and big cars for your child to sit in while getting their hair cut. Both ours love it and always want to come back!
