Senta Hernandez Beautiful salon! Full service from the moment you walk in! Vanessa at the front desk is great and very attentive and friendly. I have been a client there for about 5 yrs maybe more and Alex is my stylist, she’s great! She’s up to date on everything hair!! Great team of people there!

Jessi See Always an amazing experience. Alex does a terrific job on my hair. The whole staff makes you feel like your visiting your friends and I can never leave without buying a yummy candle or some cute sunglasses!

Larisa Flory A great place to get your haircut. The space is peaceful and well designed. Have been happy with every cut. An option to do a "dry cut" when short on time to still get in a great haircut, but takes less than 30 minutes. Everyone is very friendly and super helpful about products, tools, style suggestions, etc.

Azalea Koestler The entire salon environment is uplifting yet relaxing. Vanessa is quick to offer a smile and a welcoming beverage. Katie is an artist who knows how to adapt her techniques to work on all types of lashes. I have naturally short, blonde, stick straight lashes. Katie is able to give me the tinted and lifted lashes of my dreams. Lash extensions dont work with my lifestyle and this is a fabulous alternative service that helps me feel bright eyed and fresh faced every time.

Andrew Kelsey Alexandra and her crew always listen and find the perfect way to be accommodating. They deliver great services. They go out of their way for others. They are not only professional but caring. You all have our business and our hearts.

Ashley Cooley Got my hair cut and eye brows waxed today by Mia and the service was amazing! She brought my hair back to life and cut enought to get my hair back to healthy looking! And my eyebrows havent looked so good in a long time!

Michaela Weber First time customer and I am hocked. Roxanna knew exactly how to cut my hair. She gave me some good tips about my hair since Yakima has dry heat. I already made my second appointment with her. Also, the prices are very reasonable. She is very friendly and has a great personality as well.

Elaine Johnson I LOVE MY HAIR! Koraima did an amazing job and was very patient with me, with getting my haired dyed for the first time. We tried something new and I got a Calico style and it turned out AMAZING! She is extremely friendly, communicates through all the steps and answered any questions I had. She is amazingly sweet and I cant say thank you enough!

beathanee timmermans I have had lots of bad experiences going to salons. I never wanted to go back but after coming here. She listened. She was amazing and patient. My hair was gorgeous after. I always see her. But honestly the whole place feels like a good welcoming feeling. Thank you guys! You have been the best.

Dreamy If youre booking with Laura make sure you confirm the price of your hair before you get to the appointment and after you get there. A couple co-workers recommended her and she said she started at $140 (I sent her photos of current hair and then the style and cut I wanted) and after arriving she didnt give me another quote on my hair like other hairstylists have done if the price is changing, so throughout the appointment I assumed it was $140. At the end of the appointment I was told $250 and we scheduled a follow up that at the time I was told would be apart of the same appointment because we couldnt finish in time. Come time for the follow up appointment she said it would be another $125 due to inflation and this was happening for all of her clients. Laura was a wonderful person and the environment was very positive and uplifting. Just make sure you confirm your price so you arent caught off guard.

Kathy D I love this place! The moment I walked in the door I felt the welcoming, friendly vibe. Laura cut my hair and took the extra time necessary to make sure it was what I wanted and that my hair laid just right. While I was there I decided to have AB, their aesthetician, wax my brows. She did such a great job that I decided to schedule a facial with her for next week and Im really looking forward to it!

Jessica Walters Once again, they do not disappoint. My daughter had an appt at another local salon and they just would not do what she asked for. Came to fashion cuts last minute and not only did they squeeze us in, they did exactly what she asked for. 100% recommended!!

SabrinaRenee I got my lashes done on 10/11/22 they looked really nice the day they were done but as soon as the next day they were already falling out. It’s only been 1 week since I got them done and one eye barely has about 5 eyelash extensions on it and the rest all fell off. I paid 85$ and they didn’t even last a week. The other eye looks fine but for some reason 1 is almost all the way off. I didn’t wet them at all the first 4 days.

tosha martin Fashion cuts is a great place not only for adults. I cant believe the amazing job Yuri Mendoza does on my children. My kids normally hate getting hair cuts. Jason Buerger Amazing all around. Great conversation and attention to detail. I went in looking as shaggy as a dog and walked out with a dapper hairdo. I asked her to help me look my best and she most certainly did so. I know where Ill be going every time I need a cut. I watched her give a hair cut to a few kids before me and they were looking good too.

Kristen Lawrence I am very picky when it comes to haircuts. Therefore I wont go anywhere unless Ive heard rave reviews from people I know and trust. Because of this I let my hair grow down to my hips! I heard about Scizzors OHair (I went to the stylist Chris), and my hair is fantastic. I love it and I get compliments everywhere I go. I went from super long hair to an Inverted Bob. Chris took her time and did it right. Great haircut, great conversation, great experience!

Jason di Avani I almost never write reviews, but the haircut I received here was so careless and poorly done that I had to warn others. The stylist was at the end of her shift and completely butchered my hair. Unfortunately I didn’t identify the full extent of her butchery until after I got home… Different lengths all throughout, no attempt to blend, just absolutely careless. She charged me $45 (a premium price for a man’s cut) for the worst haircut I’ve ever received; now I have to pay someone else even more to fix it as best they can.

Ashley Steffen Mandy cut my hair and did a fantastic job - I brought in a picture of what I wanted (textured hair style and quite different than what I had previously) - she replicated and I couldnt be happier. The ladies there seem very talented and knowledgeable and have a passion for styling/cutting hair. I highly recommend Saol.

Liz McManus I had a fabulous experience start to finish! The receptionist greeted me warmly when I arrived and made me a cup of coffee. Isabel was my stylist, and she was very skilled and kind! She listened to my needs and gave me great advice for my hair, then gave me an excellent cut! Ive also never had a cut start with a scale massage, but that was an amazing part of the experience. Price was exactly what i was expecting based on the pricing info on the website. Seamless booking experience, this place is great!

Sierra Foster Mothers- Please be aware that they will not provide any accommodations if your child wakes up with a fever. I was unable to make my appointment because my childcare could not watch my ill child. As soon as they opened I called to make arrangements. They insisted on charging me for half my appointment and would not allow me to bring my child in so I could still come. No other alternatives were offered like reschedule and using the cancellation fee towards a future appointing. I am now out $100+ and no respect for my situation. Very disappointing.

Tonya Aucutt Carol has cut and colored my hair for several months. It took me 15 years to find the hairdresser who could cut and layer my hair the way it works best for me. I am truly happy with the way it turns out every time. She’s kind, professional and a true gem.

Maribel Macias I booked the Japanese Scalp treatment with Liliana Farias and had the most relaxing experience. She was very professional and well organized. The environment felt comfortable and relaxing. The massage was amazing and my scalp felt so refreshed and clean. Definitely recommend and will be back for more services.

Heather Hall 100% recommend Patty for threading!!! She was able to accommodate my daughter last minute and did a wonderful job. She is skilled, professional, and educated on threading. My daughter cannot have wax due to acne breakouts and upon learning this she was careful about applying products before and after. The price was also outstanding and below the service received. Her friendliness just added to the top notch experience. Highly recommend Patty for your hair removal needs!!!

Lia Ali I am in utter disbelief and shock. I am in town visiting family and had a need to have my eyebrows threaded so went to Salon Envy as its the only location here that advertised to do eyebrow threading. When I laid down, margarita said "theyre already thin so just a clean up?" I agreed and said "yes, just a clean up." Now, my eyebrows are light but not that thin nor in anyway difficult as they keep shape just need cleaning around the brow. I thought she knew what she was doing but that was simply not the case. Margarita did an atrocious job on my eyebrows and kept tugging at my skin and hairs, not the normal feeling for threading but assumed she still was perfecting the technique. I could have never imagined how wrong this could have gone. I was given the mirror and from an upside down view, they appeared thin and a section where it seemed to be a minor gap but at this point nothing else could be done, I didnt want her to "attempt" to fix and create a worse problem with my brows. I got in the car and looked closer and I audibly gasped. I did not know you could even create these mistakes with threading. My eyebrows are close to non-existent and the one on the left is incredibly butchered and damaged. Im not sure how this woman is still "threading" eyebrows doing such a messy job. It’s unbelievable. While threading my eyebrows, Margarita was discussing with me that she attended training in California, etc., but I find that very difficult to believe whatsoever. Any training she received was not adequate in the least. She is unskilled, and that’s an understatement. This is the most awful thread job I have ever witnessed in my lifetime -- too bad its on my own eyebrows. I left there and went directly to buy serum and any other products to try to get these to look normal/grow out ASAP before my departure to the Middle East. What a nightmare! Do not let this woman touch your eyebrows.

Samantha Cort So, long story short, I was treated poorly at a different salon and got pushed out of an appointment. With a 7 month old at home, it was one and only chance with a sitter to get my hair done. I assumed it would be weeks before I could get in, but Christina made time for me later in the day and made sure to listen to my requests. We had great conversation and I left feeling satisfied and happy. I also had a sexy new do! All in all, I totally recommend this salon and encourage you to try the other services here also. CeeC Got a volume set of eyelashes done by jordan and within 6 days they had all practically fell out on one eye. Super disappointed as i just paid $100 for this service now I am having to pay another $70 for someone else to fix the mistake. Was denied even a partial refund and was only offered $25 to do it again. Why would I pay more $ for something that is going to fall out again? Would not recommend.

michelle wissman My son saw Jordan for the first time and he was amazing. Was very engaging with my son, took his time and asked questions to make sure he was going to be happy. My son had a lot of hair and super curly, the appointment took over an hour as Jordan was very meticulous and protected the cut. 100% recommend and will be going back to him every time. My son said “this is my fav hair cut”.

JCobra 09 Came in as a walk in. New to the area. Jordan did a great job on my fade. Was looking for a shop that was cheaper, because I don’t get anything special, but $35 is the going rate. With that being said, it’s a great looking cut. Nice to talk to as well.

On Fire Ministries They take their time and make sure your satisfied with your haircut I recommend this place to anyone that wants to look really nice

Jose Garcia I appreciate them taking me last minute as a walk-in, which is why I gave them a two start but man, this is about the worst taper fade cut I’ve ever gotten. This shop has potential to be better but I recommended they have weekly training sessions amongst each other to better each individual barber. The success of a shop depends on the success of each individual barber. I’m not trying to knock them down but hope this review is a wake up call for them to up there game!

She listens to exactly what you want and has the vision to craft an individual style that is the most flattering, whether casual or glamorous, classic or trendy. Now every time I am in town I have Meranda work her magic on my hair. I only wish I could clone her to take back with me to San Francisco.

Shawna Brown I always have a great experience at Avanti salon. I live 30 miles outside of Boston and I am happy to make the drive to see my stylist- Rob. Rob is an extremely talented hair stylist. He is a master at color and has gotten my hair the healthiest it has been in years. He has perfected my blonde hair color without the use of bleach. i constantly get compliments on my hair cut and color. Rob is a miracle worker. If you want a stylist that listens and consistently delivers a quality cut and color, Rob should be your choice. He is fabulous! He is what makes my experience at Avanti spectacular.

T L As a guy with long (and quite curly) hair , Im pretty paranoid and terrified of hairstylists. Ive just avoided cutting it altogether because, when faced with a longer-haired guy, they seem to be butchers that want to buzz you down, get confused and try to give you a girly bob or something, or simply cant deal with curly hair and make a mess). After not cutting it for at least 7-8 months and starting to look like Weird Al Yankovic waking up in an alley after a weekend bender, Shannon Ellis at Avanti did a wonderful job. She is also super sweet and chill, which eased my strong anxiety and discomfort with the whole thing. Highly recommend.

Sav Marie I love how collaborative my experience with Dorothy was. She doesnt just take chances, she consulted with me every step of the way and I really appreciate how she looked out for the length she was cutting as I got rid of a good bit. Shes super intuitive and it turned out so well. Im moving out of state but would go back to her every time in a heartbeat! Very kind and professional, this is a great location. The owner, Audrey, is quite knowledgeable and runs a wonderful establishment.

Sophia Smart Kristen did a great job on my haircut! She really listened to what I ask while also making professional decisions (she’s been a hairstylist for 14 years!) on what was best for my hair to get rid of damage and improve movement. Even after washing my hair myself and my amateur styling skills, it’s so bouncy and just lays perfectly. Take a chance on her, you won’t regret it!

Danica Nestegard I scheduled a bleach and tone with one of the stylists who was labeled a “level 3 stylist”. She did not know what she was doing and was being instructed by the other worker in the salon. She had to bleach my hair twice and tone it 3 separate times. I payed about 250 for a chemically burnt scalp which oozed so bad my hair was solidified to my head the next morning. And it has a green hue to it. Come to find out. Since I rebooked in salon (didn’t realize how bad my scalp was burnt till after and cancelled my rebook right away) they will not refund me and only will offer a “deep conditioning treatment”. Super unprofessional and a complete waste of time and money. I now have to figure out how to get my hair back to normal and fix my scalp.

Amanda Bastin This is one of the best salons in Yakima, female owned and managed and they genuinely care about customer service. No matter who is at the front desk I have always been greeted with a smile and service promptly. I’ve been going to Audre for a little over a year now and I drive 2+ hours to see her and be in her cute, calm and cozy salon. Audre never fails to impress me with her styling and coloring skills and her genuine care that she has for not only her customers but her staff as well. She is always educating her staff and customers on why things are done the way that they are salon beYoutfiul and I love the family-vibes that I get whenever I visit. Audre has always done my hair amazingly, she executes a blonde heavy balayage on my dark brown hair and always gets me to the optimal blonde that I dream of!
