2nd Street Design Studio - Shelton (WA)

1 /5 Shirley Davis: I went into 2nd Street design studio today to have my hair cut. I was seated in Gabbys station. My instruction with photo was to have a pixie style but not too short. My hair is so short and I have never, not had a hair dresser offer me a mirror to see the back of my hair but she didnt. When I got home and saw the back I wanted my $20 tip back. This is the worst haircut Ive ever had. I will leave photos. After the first posting of this review the manager called and asked me to go down so they could see the cut. I dropped everything and drove 35 miles round trip. She refused t give me the full name and state license number of the stylist Gabby. She said I got the cut I asked for and offered a free cut not to write anymore reviews. I declined. The first picture is the cut I wanted the rest are what I got. Did I get the cut I asked for? In response to your comment I wasnt willing to work with you; that simply makes no sense. I stopped what I was doing after your call and drove 35 miles used my gas to work with you. Your offer for a free haircut wasnt any offer at all since I have no hair to cut so dont lie.

5 /5 Amy Pham: Their website was very easy to navigate if I wanted to book a haircut as soon as the next day. I called in the morning to see if they had any availability for the same day, and the receptionist was able to fit me in with level 4 stylist Taylor. The salon is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. I will continue to get my hair cut here, and maybe try dyeing my hair sometime!

1 /5 Dana Bone: 2nd Street is 2nd rate. Went in for perm. 3 days it was very slight wave at best. 2 weeks nothing. My natural light curls at the end of my hair that I had when i went in remained but no perm curls, sadly. Had a consult and style to show me what product can do. Slight end curls with diffuser but still no curls. Those were even gone before the diffuser was finished. The end result is Im out $166 and no curls. A % off offer in a few months is the best they can do. Ive heard great reviews but sorry and sadly, not my experience. Cant recommend .

5 /5 Jessa Potter: Went the same day I made my appointment and saw Sarah Zyski. Absolutely LOVE my hair and when I asked for things that didnt align with my picture references she explained it to me and got a good understanding of what I really wanted, which is so important to me! I will come back to her next time I want my haircut again!
