1 /5 Nichole Mischke: Just a word of caution for anyone shopping here. Windsor has a strict “all sales are final” policy in store, and in-store prices are often significantly higher than the prices for the exact same items on their website.
I learned this the hard way. I purchased a dress in the store for $89, and later that same day my daughter found the identical dress on Windsor’s website for $25. When I contacted customer service to ask why the same item is priced so differently online, I wasn’t given any clear explanation beyond, “the online store is different.”
I also asked what a customer is supposed to do when the store and website sell the same inventory at drastically different prices. The representative couldn’t offer a logical policy or solution—only that I “should have checked the customer support page before purchasing,” which is where their final-sale policy is listed.
I have no problem with final-sale policies. What’s frustrating is discovering after the fact that the same item was available from Windsor the very same day for nearly 75% less, with no option to price-match and no reasonable explanation for the discrepancy.
If you plan to shop here, just make sure to check the online price first. The difference can be substantial.
