Sophia Ferst I just moved to Oak Harbor so this was my first time at Studio LaRue and I saw Sam O’Connor. I had a lot of split and dry ends and my hair needed serious help. Sam was awesome and followed my very vague instructions of “make it look good” and “old money”. I love the cut and Sam was so sweet. The salon is very pretty and clean and it’s in a perfect location. Highly recommend!

Sam AZ Honestly was a little skeptical to go here at first because it didn’t have too many reviews, albeit all were good. I was walking past and decided to pop in to see if they accepted walk ins for a haircut and they had availability right then. I saw Dahnyelle and she was great. I wanted a decent amount chopped off and she made sure double check the length as it can be a drastic cut. The whole staff was very friendly and all other customers seemed very pleased with their hair when leaving too. Will definitely be going back for more haircuts here! Prices are good here too!

Great hair treatments too, and a soothing, no-pressure environment. Only 1 customer at a time so lots of personalized attention. I drive 1 hour to go to Fleur Rebelle, and would fly across country if I had to.

Brennan. Postell Had my hair cut originally done at (Other) Place in town. Their barber there didnt give me what I was looking for, he was pressed for time, and I dont like conflict. Time for an upgrade to someone with experience now. Searched long and far looking for a good clean cut with no Poof on the sides. Im ex-military crew cut, clean type. I found C Bo online googling for experienced barbers. He managed to fix the cut while keeping up with our conversation. It was a pleasant experience. You can see the noticeable difference. C Bo is a Natural Barber that I will continue to recommend and will be a returning customer. Thank you C Bo! Til next time!

She did my hair and my husbands while we were in Sicily and was always so fun to be around. If I still lived near her I would definitely still be seeing her for my cut and color.

JamieLEwen I finally found my new hair stylist! After moving to Whidbey 1 1/2 years ago, I went on the search for a new stylist. Monica is the best and exactly what I was looking for. Her attention to detail is spot on, NAILED my color (Ive received so many compliments). She is so easy to talk to, which is important when you are with someone for several hours. I then took my teenage daughter and my 9yr old. Both left saying how much they really liked Monica and LOVED their hair. And we cant forget how adorable her space is. CLEAN and details are so good. Ive already have sent my girlfriends to her and planning to have her do formal hair for homecoming/prom for my teen.

Brittni Clark-Perez Never had issues with my curls until I came here. My hair stopped curling naturally once I got a haircut here and when I brought it up, she had no clue how that happened… I know how, she cut it wrong. So now because of multiple bad haircuts my hair won’t curl anymore in a lot of places, now I am forced to buzz my whole head so I can hopefully grow my hair again and my curls will grow out naturally. I’ve never had to shave my head before (that’s literally most people’s nightmare-mine included) but I am forced to now so I can salvage my hair and build my confidence back up because my hair now is terrible. I don’t recommend this salon-especially if you have curls. Also her dog does not make for a peaceful environment. So if you love barking this is place you want.

Shelby Peddie Oh my goodness! Monica is fantastic! I have had a hard time finding someone who I feel comfortable with to do my hair, and I am so happy that I found Monica! She transformed my really long, dull hair, into a much shorter cut, and exactly what I was hoping for! Andrew Tokar Not too happy with the cut, I can get a similar one at the nex for half the price. I asked for a high fade, and half an inch off the top. The fade didn’t turn out good, and the top was uneven. The view at the shop is nice though.

Kimber Berentson I really love it here! I’ve had massages, facials, hair and nail services and feel well taken care of every single time. The infrared sauna is amazing and highly underrated. Today I saw Elva for a hard gel manicure with Valentine’s Day nail art, she was so welcoming and is super talented. I’ve worked in the spa industry for over a decade and this is the only spa in town I trust to do a great job every time!

Daisy Mayer Meg Mills did a great job with my hair, being a Latina with very dark hair some times is difficult to get the look I want, she was patient and showed me the different colors would go with my hair tone, I definitely recommend her!

Carmen Clark I was surprised at the cost of a nail fill and pedicure. 150.00 dollars. No massage with pedicure, no toe nail cleaning or shaping, just soak and polish. My fill for my nails took 1.5 hours and I am not very pleased with them. My pedicure was 20 minutes. I work hard and expect a bit more for my money. I believe their massages are good per word of mouth. They also do hair and I have no reviews of that. Also I had noidea that gel nail polish was 18.00 dollars extra. I would have just done regular.

Smells good, nice people everyone smiled and was nice and not unfriendly. Told them I’d leave a good review but the crows scared me there were like a hundred crows but I had a better day just from stopping by here. I thought about things more clearly and I’ll do better to Stay. Out of the way of selfish peoples which this place does not seem selfish.

Rachel Turley Diva Lounge and Meagan are so wonderful! The salon itself is so cute inside and out and always clean and welcoming. Every person I’ve met is very friendly and it’s clear that they’re all quite skilled. Meagan is a total gem and honestly the best kind of stylist–true artistic vision, honest about what’s possible/best for your hair type, a cutting wizard, and an amazing person to boot. Even longer than I should’ve gone beteeen cuts and faded color I still get a ton of compliments on the vivids+shag that Meagan does for me–it’s so cool to watch her take vague inspiration and turn it into wearable art (that even better fits with my level of maintenance and styling)! My mother in law came in from Florida and specifically asked to visit Meagan as well–she had had a hard time finding a salon in Florida that could cut the way she was thinking and who could help her cover gray in a way that wasn’t just “blonde”. Meagan totally delivered on both ends and my MIL left tickled pink with a color combo and cut that added dimension, movement, and of course gorgeous color to achieve her goals. My daughter was not sure if she wanted to have her first haircut, but felt comfortable enough with Diva Lounge and Meagan to come in and talk about it. Meagan took the time to discuss in detail with my little one her fears and answered all of her questions without making her feel silly or small. She decided “no thank you” to a haircut for right now, but the confidence she gained from feeling listened to and hyped up without feeling pressured thanks to Meagan is priceless. Diva Lounge definitely walks the walk when it comes to genuine acceptance and building each other up!!

She does such a great job getting me to my ideal blonde color and always knows how to make me feel beautiful. We laugh together and talk about a lot and it’s just a great time every time I come in there. My colorist is Amber Bovee and she is amazing and referred me to her for styling.

She listened to my desire to have an easy care short bob that that worked with the natural growth pattern of my hair. I am really pleased with the cut she has given me. Shawn When I walked in, the salon was charming and impressive. However, It took an awkward minute or so before I was greeted by the one who had the short Kate Gosselin hair. The tone in her voice was very arrogant and snooty. Immediately I felt uncomfortable. My haircut was a joke, what was done with my hair I could have done myself and the professionalism wasnt there. Im not a spiteful person, but I do believe if youre gonna go to Posh Salon, be prepared for unfriendly service and a bad haircut.

Marez Lucy I know getting your hair done is expensive anywhere you go but having to pay so much $ for a service that is nothing like what you had asked for it’s just not fair. Then getting told to go back and they will fix it and get it to look more like what you had asked for initially but you have to pay more $ is ridiculous. Rob H Absolutely not going back. Never felt like a transaction more than today. Brought my 4 year old in, granted he was not in a great mood, but when he needed to be asked to get into the seat the third time, the hairdresser stressed we needed to hurry up and we didn’t have much time. We had an appointment and were on time... quick haircut. Son was kicking legs a little as I supervised which wasn’t too big of an issue until the neck. I personally helped keeping my son’s head steady so she could trim the back of his neck. (Very quickly with little attention to detail.) while I was assisting she cut my son’s neck multiple times and drew blood… Had to ask him to sit still during all this and not bring his hand to his neck, which I feel terrible about. Second time with this hair dresser but two times too many. The whole experience was rushed, she was very impatient and frustrated when a four year old didn’t keep his head exactly where it needed to be, and pretty forceful with the small corrections needed. Pictures of my son’s neck attached. UNSAT. If my son wasn’t begging me for a bandaid while I was also holding my daughter and trying to pay, I would have bypassed the standard tipping options but I was willing to do whatever it took to get out of there. We were on the road home in 17 minutes flat from start of haircut to driving. Guess time was tight.

Lauren Becker I didnt know appointments were preferred, so I was a walk in customer. I only had a short wait before I was taken, and once I showed the a photo of the cut I wanted, and told her the last person that cut my hair said she wouldnt do it because my hair was too thin, this new girl said that was ridiculous, and shed be happy to cut my hair the way I wanted! So we discussed a few points and I got my hair cut the way I wanted! Best ever! Thank you!♡

Mark Williamson Might be the worst haircut Ive ever had. At least as an adult. How hard is it to screw up "Just shorten it and clean it up."? Apparently, not hard at all! I ended up with patches of hair that were more than an inch longer than others, and with no rhyme or reason. Some in the front. Some in the back. Some in the middle. Cuz, why not. Sure it looked good when I walked out, but after a shower? SURPRISE!! I looked like the baby face spider toy from Sids bedroom in Toy Story. Ya, save your money, use your kids scissor to cut your own hair. Itll hurt more, but youll get the same result. Or...OR...go somewhere else.

CM We called to make an appointment for my son to get his hair cut before his first game and they told us to come in at 4:15. Upon arrival she didn’t remember the appointment and I said he just needs a trim to get the hair out of his eyes and wants to keep the same look. She asked 3-different times about the cut and confirming the same style. Big mistake, my son was so upset he didn’t even know what to say. Not only did she take too much hair off, the cut is completely wrong, and worst of all not even! None of us will be coming back here for our haircuts. So disappointing and hoping it’s not going to look so bad for Christmas.

Misty Downard Booked online before they opened on a Sunday. Arrived early and received a call from the manager that the stylist was running late but would be no later than 10 minutes. There was only one stylist on duty and another customer had arrived by the time the salon was opened. Racheal was nothing but professional and accommodating. She listened to what I was looking for and achieved a cut I was happy with.

Kiara Bagasan Everything came out great! This salon has apprentices working along with professionals, so be ware that you’ll be working with potential beginners/not as experienced practitioners. I went in for a full dye and worked with an apprentice, Kylie, she was very helpful and friendly - helped me pick a color out nicely! I’d recommend being thorough with discussing what you want, make sure to be detailed. The only complaint I’d give has to do with the attentiveness to clients, from a customer service perspective, things could’ve been more personable as that applies to customer - service provider relationship. During busy hours things feel a lot more rushed, whether that has to do with my stylist or not, I personally felt slightly rushed. But once everything died down, that’s when I felt that more detail was applied to the job. Overall, though, I’m happy I went! It’s a beautiful salon with lots of choices and options, a variety of stylists there and I felt the passion for beauty these ladies had. Thank you, Kylie :)

Cristie Wendi is the most genuine, thoughtful hairdresser and person you could ask for. I have very challenging hair and she always listens and suggests what is best, even if I dont realize that more isnt more! (Less is more in my case!). - I had surgery recently and was afraid to wash my hair (and the blood in it) out, she had me come in early morning and very gently washed my hair, then blow dried it with ZERO pain - what a special, lovely lady!

Danielle Pruiett I had literally the best experience at Allure, not only is the place beautiful, and super clean. But my hairdresser Desirey did so much more for me than I imagined was possible, her work is amazing and you can just tell she pays close attention to every detail, not only is she an amazing artist but she’s so friendly and makes you feel like you’ve known her forever! Also Megan cut my brothers hair, he’s a picky 17 year old and he truly loved his cut( which never happens), the entire staff just was so very inviting! To top this all off my brother left my car running and but I wasn’t sure if he ran the battery dead or if I ran out of gas, so they all jumped in to help, Desirey had her awesome husband bring me gas and then Megan(other stylist) got her car and jumper cables and the proceeded to jump my car and got it back up and running. Truly amazing experience and I will definitely be going back and recommending y’all to everyone! Thanks again!

Jayda Turner My wife and I just moved here from Atlanta. There are plently of great salons there. By far DRock is --- Absolutely the worst place we have ever visited. My wife just came back from this location to get her hair flat ironed. They charged her an extra $10 because she had "to much hair" how crazy is that?! Ok, she grows her hair long and maintains it very well on her own. She just wanted a break from doing herself. They acted like they have never styled an African-Americans hair before. Told her over and over she should cut(and get extensions) or get dreads or just do braids (we both found that racist). DRock completely rushed the job. Her hair was not fully blow dried before the started to flat iron is. Do you guys want to damage her hair. By the end it "looked" ok from the outside but it was not flattened to the scalp. We will not be coming back. If they felt so uncomfortable doing my wifes hair, they should have just said so and not waste our money on a horrific and embarrassing experience. Just case closed, these people are garbage and do not deserve to be in business. Customer services is awful and the stylists are rude.
