Kristin Hammond When her next appointment came in and she wasn’t done with my hair (cut off about 12inches) I was nervous I would be rushed out the door but she took her time and genuinely cared if I was satisfied with the length and cut. Also steered me in the right direction as far as the style/framing.

Madison Duchscher This is hands down the best nail place I have ever been to. Tony I believe made sure to make them absolutely perfect, and I’ve never been to a nail salon as great as this one. Definitely my new favorite spot! Prices were super nice too, and my whole experience was maybe a little over half an hour for a full set of acrylics!! this is the first salon where I was 100% satisfied with the results ☺️

Salsa X My first visit was okay, the nails looked good but the social skills were lacking. I visited again, but this time a few minutes late, and the young woman was livid and treated me with the silent service. I attempted small talk but there was no eye contact or expression, or reciprocation of questions back. Like talking to a pissed off wall. They were very friendly and warm to other customers, likely locals, but don’t care much for others. So they talked over/around me. The split reviews are accurate. I shouldn’t have tipped, but it’s a habit since I’ve been in customer service for 20+ years. Honestly it’s the one place that didn’t deserve a tip based on the interaction and it hurts to say that. I will never go here again or recommend it to anyone because there are many other places in town who treat you with respect and like a human being. If you’re a few minutes late and apologize right off the bat, you acknowledge your fault, and they shouldn’t have to keep this hung over your head and stay gloomy and pissed off the entire session. It’s so rude and disrespectful. We all work hard to earn a living.

Nicole Ballard They are meticulous and my nails are flawless every time. Also includes a long hand massage and paraffin dip!

Mindy Einwalter There are hardly words for the quality of my gel nail manicure. The experience was uncomfortable, the nail tech kept throwing my hands back at me, it was filthy- which I can deal with until I saw the end result. He nicked my cuticles, the paint was bubbly and the paint job was as good as how my 4 year old could do it.

Kelli Bergquist I went into star nails to get my nails done for my birthday. the man was very rude and aggressive when i first got them done and this was because he had to close but with someone who has such a busy schedule being a college student i couldn’t go in until later. I went home that weekend and accidentally broke one of my nails. again with having a busy schedule i didn’t get to go in until later to get it fixed. i waited a long time and i didn’t mind because there is only two of them. the lady fixed my nail and told me it was the right color because i also didn’t know them number because the guy never told me. she continued to fix my nail and then the color turned out to be the wrong color. it did not match my nails whatsoever and all she said was “oops that was the wrong color” and didn’t even offer to fix it. they still charged me and sent me home with mismatched colored nails. will never go here again

S M I came here for acrylic nails and was not happy with the results. At the beginning of the appointment I showed the technician a picture of the nails I wanted. She let me go with cuticles not trimmed and a poor job. I had to ask her to clean up the extra paint splatter before I left. Even tho I made an appointment I was seated late and it took a while. $40

Roberta Cornelson So happy to see an Ellensburg nail salon that lines foot tubs with plastic. My first time there was last weekend for a pedicure, take their time, and do an immaculate job. Went back today for quick regular manicure, they were very busy but took time with each client and didnt make me feel like they were in a hurry. I found my regular salon finally!

Zoie Mastin The owners of this business are super nice, and the salon is super clean. But unfortunately, this will probably be my last time coming here. There’s not many places to go for nails in Ellensburg that do a quality job, and my first experience here was great so I thought this was finally the place for me. Today however was the second or third time I’ve left the salon bleeding. They remove acrylic very painfully, and today another one of my fingers is left bloody/throbbing. The recent times I’ve come to this salon has seemed super rushed so things get missed or sloppy. With their growing popularity, I get it, there’s only two of them they want to get people in and out, but quality and client safety should come first. I have only gotten acrylics done, I’ve heard awesome things about other services here. Hoping things get turned around because I really like the couple that owns this salon and hope to support them in the future.

Angela Reasor I don’t know if this salon is under new ownership or not, but this technically should be a zero star, but I was forced to choose one star. I’ve never been to an all male nail salon. It was the creepiest thing ever. My girlfriend and I sat down, looked at each other and decided that it wasn’t for us creeper vibes all way. Marissa Tucker This place is great! They were very nice and quick. I got a Gel Pedicure which cost $45 which is a completely fair price. I will say that if you like the places that do hot stone, scrubs, massages, etc when you get a pedicure this may not be the place for you but my feet feel soft and clean and they look great! They do clean up your legs with a hot towel and at the end rub your feet/ legs with lotion. Will definitely be coming back :)

Chelsea Cramer I walked in just after 5 as a last min full set. They were wonderful! Everyone greeted me happily and they started in my nails within 5 minutes! The nails came out better than the photo I showed them and I am incredibly impressed! I love this place!

Kylie Daniels I broke a nail right before my appointment and they were very gentle as they removed my nails and re did them. I was highly impressed by how he was gentle and knowledgeable about my nails.

Kaitlynn Bridgewater They were super nice and friendly the entire time. They stayed late to make sure me and my friends nails got done and were super sweet about wanting to make sure it was perfect for us. My french tips were free handed and done so efficiently and beautifully. Best nail place i’ve ever been to in ellensburg

Angelina Peterson My favorite place to get my nails done. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on this place that are complaining about price, firstly. Your nail techs have to deal with skin and nail residue. If you’re getting a pedicure, one wrong move and you have a fungal infection, so be a bit more open minded when it comes to the price for the work they do. They work hard, to give you beautiful services. This nail salon jumps through hoops, they are kind, They are clean, and they do fantastic work. Highly recommend.

Lina Peterson I just got my nails done here. They are exactly like the picture reference I showed, they were kind, they were welcoming. The space was clean, and they did everything to fit my wants and needs. I was a little nervous about going because of all the reviews on here. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!! this will be my full time salon from now on because of how much I loved the experience. The pricing is a bit more on the pricey side, but honestly I think it’s definitely worth it for the work they do.

Grace Smith Gina went above and beyond with this set!!!! This is for the eras tour, each nail representing each album (base white representing TTPD)! She was so conversational, funny, and kind. I’ve gone here for my last three dip sets, and I am beyond happy with the results every time!

Spam4stuff I got my nails done here; they were short extensions and only one color. I asked for help with the color cause I didnt want too bright of a color. Once two layers were on, I asked if I could have a thin layer of something darker on top to tone it down and they lady said "No if you want a different color you should have picked a different color. Next time you choose a different color." For $78 I feel like she should have been nicer about it, and agreed to let me add a sheer darker color on top. I left with nails I didnt like and a bad experience. I think its important when you do services like this, to make sure your customer is going home with something they like, especially for the price charged.
