2 /5 Salsa X: My first visit was okay, the nails looked good but the social skills were lacking. I visited again, but this time a few minutes late, and the young woman was livid and treated me with the silent service. I attempted small talk but there was no eye contact or expression, or reciprocation of questions back. Like talking to a pissed off wall.
They were very friendly and warm to other customers, likely locals, but donāt care much for others. So they talked over/around me.
The split reviews are accurate. I shouldnāt have tipped, but itās a habit since Iāve been in customer service for 20+ years. Honestly itās the one place that didnāt deserve a tip based on the interaction and it hurts to say that. I will never go here again or recommend it to anyone because there are many other places in town who treat you with respect and like a human being. If youāre a few minutes late and apologize right off the bat, you acknowledge your fault, and they shouldnāt have to keep this hung over your head and stay gloomy and pissed off the entire session. Itās so rude and disrespectful. We all work hard to earn a living.
