The best you never had: I would have given it five stars except for the ring that my boyfriend gave me has had some issues but we have a lifetime warranty but one of the sapphires seems to come loose every couple of months and falls out so I have to get it replaced. Last time I had it replaced the lady literally told me that it was the last time that they were going to be able to do it which I dont understand at all seeings as it is a lifetime warranty not a warranty to fix it this many times and then thats it.

Kelli Temeyosa: Excellent business! I had a stone go missing from my ring and they were able to fix it and make it perfect again. They gave me a timeline of about a week but it was done in 3 days. Super fast and it looks beautiful. Very friendly people as well. I definitely recommend them. They are wonderful!

Animal Lover94: What a great place to shop! John is so knowledgeable and kind. We went here for my fiancé’s wedding band and we couldn’t have been happier. John really helped us find a ring that fits my partner’s lifestyle and compliments his fashion. We couldn’t have felt more confident in our purchase. John was patient and genuine! I could tell he really wanted what was best for us. We will definitely be back for any future jewelry inquiries!

    Pawn Express - Kent
Ash&Tom: Honest, Friendly, and Fair! I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment I walked into Pawn Express, I was greeted with a friendly smile and truly helpful service that’s hard to find at big stores. The owner keeps it real and straightforward, which I appreciate. Whether youre shopping, selling, or just looking around, they make you feel like a valued customer. When I went in to sell some items, they offered a fair price, no lowballing or pressuring me into a quick sale. It’s clear they care about creating long-term relationships, not just making a quick profit like many others. Their selection is great too! There’s everything from tools and electronics to collectible items and nice jewelry, all at reasonable prices. Places like this are so important to the local community, and Pawn Express is a perfect example of how a small business should be run. If you’re nearby, I highly recommend stopping in. Whether you’re looking for a good deal or need quick cash, you won’t find a better place.

Monkey at Typewriter: Kristen and Jason were wonderful. We felt very happy to shop with them. Also, we returned a few months after buying our ring and Kristen remembered us (Jason wasnt working). Love the staff here, theyre just a delight. And the ring I got was a screaming deal.

Hyo Sin Wilson: He was very unhelpful and expressed silent dissatisfaction with his career. I felt like just stepped on poop. He was judging us by talking low on how expensive stones cost implying that we couldn’t afford it. We had to walk out of his store to preserve my dignity.

Garry: I had a terrible experience with this company. I purchased a ring and paid extra to have it engraved—only to receive it with the engraving done incorrectly. They offered to fix the mistake, and I specifically asked three separate times whether polishing the ring would affect its structure or appearance. Each time, I was assured it would not. However, when I received the “fixed” ring, it was noticeably thinner due to excessive polishing. When I pointed this out, the saleswoman repeatedly insisted they had only polished it “a little,” and claimed this was how the ring was supposed to look. To make matters worse, the new engraving was of very poor quality—far below what you’d expect from even a budget jeweler. They didn’t even bother to properly clean the ring afterward, and it certainly did not look like a new or well-maintained piece of jewelry. I’m extremely disappointed in both the craftsmanship and the dismissive attitude of the staff. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for quality jewelry or reliable customer service.

Claire Nguyen: What an incredibly kind man! He’s super experienced and knew the problem with my vintage watch immediately and fixed it and resized it on the spot. He has a ton of antique jewelry to look at as you wait and all the photography on the walls are his own work. A true craftsman and I’m happy to now have a jeweler to help with any issues in the future.
    Patito’s Joyeria y Mas - Des Moines
Heather A Adams: Lovely small store in the heart of Des Moines waterfront neighborhood for gifts and jewelry.
