Shane Co. - Tukwila Garry: I had a terrible experience with this company. I purchased a ring and paid extra to have it engraved—only to receive it with the engraving done incorrectly. They offered to fix the mistake, and I specifically asked three separate times whether polishing the ring would affect its structure or appearance. Each time, I was assured it would not.
However, when I received the “fixed” ring, it was noticeably thinner due to excessive polishing. When I pointed this out, the saleswoman repeatedly insisted they had only polished it “a little,” and claimed this was how the ring was supposed to look. To make matters worse, the new engraving was of very poor quality—far below what you’d expect from even a budget jeweler. They didn’t even bother to properly clean the ring afterward, and it certainly did not look like a new or well-maintained piece of jewelry.
I’m extremely disappointed in both the craftsmanship and the dismissive attitude of the staff. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for quality jewelry or reliable customer service.
