1 /5 Gretchen Sancere: Received diamond and gold loop earrings for my birthday. Only wore them twice. A diamond fell out and I took them to the store to get them fixed. Since it was one week past the 60 days, they want to charge me 230$ for one tiny diamond on a defective earring. That’s the cost of one entire earring! They said that a protection plan wasn’t purchased. Why do they charge extra to insure quality service on a product they sell? And why charge the cost of the entire earring? I’m thinking these were very badly made to begin with. I’m going to another jeweler to have them looked at and see what they really are and get another quote. I’m absolutely shocked by all of this. I’ve shopped there for years. But I’m thinking this is quite the money scam going on.
