Skagit Valley College: Whidbey Island Campus - Oak Harbor
Lauren Purvis: The student advisors and other staff are super helpful when things get complicated. I was having a problem with MyCAA website being down, and the staff helped me getting everything I needed prepped and ready to go for when it came back up to create my voucher and pay my tuition. If one of them isnt sure they dont just tell you "I dont know" they try and find someone who would know which is something I love. They dont just leave you lost and confused. Erin was my student advisor who helped build my plan and everything and I loved her shes super sweet and fun!
Haven Financial Partners - Anacortes
Wells Fargo Advisors - Oak Harbor
Allstate Personal Financial Representative: Steven Scherer - Oak Harbor
North Whidbey Help House - Oak Harbor
Stormi Bradford: The front desk lady was very kind and helpful. However, I’m 9 months pregnant, and when I asked for help to carry food out to my car, an employee gave me attitude and said, “Well, it doesn’t mean youre broken.” My due date is in 6 days, and I have a high-risk pregnancy. Reading through other reviews, Ive noticed that this isn’t the first time they have given pregnant women a hard time asking for help. So, if you are pregnant and need assistance carrying stuff, I suggest going to another food bank or bringing someone who can help. Not to mention, most people going to food banks struggle in one shape or another. My family and I have been struggling with homelessness for 7 months, and Im about to have a baby. You would think people working for programs designed to help those in need would share more kindness.
Team Jackson Ozell & Julie Jackson - Oak Harbor
Brendon Lutton: Julie and Ozell were amazing to work with! They were always available for questions and always ensured that I knew what was going. Whenever I didn’t understand something they took the time to explain it to me. I knew that they had my best interest in mind.
Opportunity Council - Oak Harbor
Drew Olson: The women that helped me were very helpful and knowledgable about my specific situation which made the experience that much easier and better. Most of all they werent all judgemental about my reason to be talking to them. I would recommend the staff that I dialed with to anyone who has fallen on hard times and just needs some knowledgeable advice or great assistance with a rough patch in life. Thank you again to the entire staff. Keep up the good work!
Peoples Bank - Oak Harbor
Tony Rideout: Great bank and service, smooth sailing with these guys and Zack was awesome
Wells Fargo Bank - Oak Harbor
Mike: I will NEVER do business with this bank ever again! Believe it or not we got charged two late fees. One for $30 and another for $40 all because we paid our bill early and threw on a bonus interest charge. They did refund the $40 late fee and the interest charge but corporate policy somehow doesnt allow to refund more than one late fee. Even if it was technically not late. This isnt a rant on our local branch but of corporate policy.
Tradewinds Insurance - Oak Harbor
Leah Dutton: My husband and I have been with Tradewinds since they started. Over the years they have always been a great help to us when we have questions or need a new quote. When accidents happen they are quick to respond and help. In this day and age of computers and electronic phone tree menus, Tradewinds still has the personal touch and excellent customer service!
