My wife had a motor vehicle accident and the team at Russell and Hill made sure she was compensated for the auto accident. The insurance company wanted to settle after 2 weeks. As soon as we hired Russell and Hill the calls stopped and they took care of everything. Only job we had to do is keep a journal about the accident and following treatment. I will never go anywhere for legal issues again. I strongly recommend calling Russell and Hill. They secured even more than we thought for a settlement with the insurance company. Negotiations were easy since they did them all. All we did is cash the check. And you are not just a % of the profit to them the call and check in to see how you are doing. They make you feel like you are the only client. 10/10

I called Russell and hill and was immediately greeted with understanding and professionalism. They handled all my paperwork and legal obligations and all I had to do was email back and forth a little bit and they handled everything else. Big shout out to Amanda Jacober she is amazing at her job all around very lovely lady to speak with and Mark Russell was very professional and straight forward kept fighting to get me my max payout and ended up being very happy with the end result. She took her time answering all the questions from my entire family from the first meeting. We went to her because we thought there could be potential family dispute, luckily that didn’t happen but she calmly explained to us how that would work if it went down that route. My mom doesn’t speak English super well and the whole office allowed me to call in or have phone meetings while being out of state on her behalf. They also communicated everything well with me to relay to my mom and were very patient with the language barrier situation. Kimberlee Schelling: This experience was very negative, and afterward, we discovered that Mr. Pellegrini was playing both sides which kept us stuck when a solution could have been easily found. My ex and I decided to meet after mediation on our own to try to work through our stuck points, and we reached an agreement in 30 minutes — when Mr. Pellegrini had us in mediation over 7 hours in a deadlock. The solution was very simple, and when we were able to communicate directly to each other, we discovered easily where Mr. Pellegrini kept very important details from each other during the mediation. Instead of supporting us to understand each other, he spoke to each of us in a very inflammatory manner. For example, he told me that my ex was “being very childlike and will not agree to your terms.” While on the other side, he would go to my ex and tell him I was “crying constantly and only here for money.” None of this was true. We spent nearly $7,000 in one day in fees to Mr. Pellegrini and attorneys, and came to a stalemate. I would highly advise against using this mediator.

Working with Steve Phillips and his paralegal was a needlessly frustrating, exhausting, and difficult experience. They made numerous mistakes, lost documents and emails, made me and my attorneys do 90% of the work, and filed significantly later than was originally promised without explanation or apology (his fee approval, however, he was VERY sure to proactively file with the court). It was terrible and it took a toll on my emotional health. During my work with him and during our hearing with the judge it became apparent that Steve knew nothing about my case or my childrens situation. I only worked with him because I was required to do so by the court; if a law firm has employees that do such shoddy work I would think twice before working with anyone at this firm.
