    Dodo_doggy: So last year I brought this cool dragon ring I had gotten online and needed it resized because I accidentally ordered the wrong size from that website. So I came here and asked them to resize it without realizing how much of a problem it might be. It turns out that I essentially gave a blacksmiths job to these jewelers, as the ring was apparently part steel instead of a light, pliable material. I was ready to take it back and get it resized elsewhere, but they insisted on finishing the job, so I let them and they actually completed it! I have the ring now, it fits my finger perfectly and I now have a deep respect for these jewelers. Thank you for resizing my ring despite the difficulties!

    P Tysal: My bf went to Prestige Jewelry to get my diamond ring set. The ring came back with the diamond off-centered, prongs crooked and not actually enclosing the diamond, plus dents/cuts on the gold of the prongs. Because of the terrible job, he then took it to Eddie’s to get it fixed. The second time the diamond did look more centered, but there’s still a huge gap between the prong and the diamond. After we dropped the ring off, Prestige messaged us saying that the initial job was actually done through Eddie’s, who they contract with. When I spoke to the jeweler who set my diamond, he admitted the diamond was set crooked the first time, but said he couldn’t fix the gaps because the little diamonds on the prongs would fall out. I don’t understand why anyone would touch fine jewelry if they can’t do the job — do a crappy job, and then hand it back to the customer — instead of being honest upfront and saying, “this is going to be the outcome, do you still want to proceed?” That way, the customer can make the choice before their diamond and ring get messed with. On top of that, he told me, “if this semi-mount was customized to the ring then we could do it.” It IS customized — here are the measurements on the diamond reporting and CAD. Still, he insisted that if they touched it again, the small diamonds would fall out. He kept repeating that the diamonds would fall out — but that’s just an excuse. I even attached photos of a marquise diamond ring set in the exact same semi-mount from the same vendor — little diamonds on the prongs and all — and as you can see, it was set beautifully with no gaps. Clearly, it can be done properly if the jeweler has the skills. If they had been upfront from the beginning and we went to a jeweler who actually knew what they were doing, we wouldn’t now be trying to find someone else to fix this mess — all while we’re trying to get engaged with this ring. Please don’t go to Eddie’s or Prestige (until they stop contracting through Eddie’s).

I’ve gotten to know a lot of the girls over the years and never had any issues. Ethal and Mary did not have the customer service that I am use to and having it be back to back experiences. I’m going to be taking my business to another location from now on, and so will my husband, and so will my dad. Attitude alone just costed this location 3 lifetime customers.

    Jullia Kim: I went to over 20+ stores for my ring that I wanted. I saw it on display at another jeweler but wasnt with the right person to buy it at the time. I took a picture of it, and kept it until the time was right. Amit took a look at the picture, and after SO many other jewelers rejected me, said it would be no problem. Within a month (I would have waited longer because of how good of a job he did) he had the mounting made, had the stone choices for me to pick, and the shape was perfect. If youre looking for someone to help you with a custom ring, go no where else! AK Jewelers is going to be our jeweler going forward. :) Thank you so much for my beautiful ring!

    The best you never had: I would have given it five stars except for the ring that my boyfriend gave me has had some issues but we have a lifetime warranty but one of the sapphires seems to come loose every couple of months and falls out so I have to get it replaced. Last time I had it replaced the lady literally told me that it was the last time that they were going to be able to do it which I dont understand at all seeings as it is a lifetime warranty not a warranty to fix it this many times and then thats it.

They gave me a timeline of about a week but it was done in 3 days. Super fast and it looks beautiful. Very friendly people as well. I definitely recommend them. They are wonderful!
