Bob Contreras We had a minor fender bender with a friend, the first time either of us has ever had to deal with insurance for auto repairs, which felt a little ridiculous at our age. The insurance company assigned us to Gerber Collision & Glass, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
From the start, Gerber was on it. They contacted me quickly, (like the phone starts ringing the instant I got off the phone with the insurance company) got the estimate done, and scheduled the repair without much delay. They even handled setting up the rental car and had someone pick me up when I dropped off my vehicle. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful, which really helped take the edge off of what could have easily become an inconvenient situation.
What I really appreciated was the way they kept me in the loop the entire time. They sent text updates throughout the repair, so I always had a sense of what was going on. No chasing anyone down or wondering when I’d hear back.
My car ended up being ready a full week ahead of schedule, and pickup was quick and easy. They even took care of the rental return so I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Repairs were well done, communication was solid, and the whole process was way less stressful than I prepared myself for. Just a really positive experience during what could’ve been a real headache and I know they will be my first call and first recommendation in the future!
