5 /5 Moiz Chawdhary: This afternoon felt like a scene straight out of Ratatouille—one of those rare meals where food, people, and emotion align so perfectly that you know you’ll remember it forever.
My fiancé and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our engagement, and from the moment we walked in, it felt like the universe quietly nodded and said, yes, this is the place. The warmth wasn’t just in the room—it was in the way we were treated, especially by Max, our waiter and bartender, who truly made the experience extraordinary. Max wasn’t just attentive; he was genuinely kind, endlessly energetic, and radiated a joy that made us feel instantly cared for. He checked in often without ever hovering, made us feel celebrated without being overbearing, and treated our special moment like it mattered just as much to him as it did to us. Service like that is rare—and unforgettable.
The drinks set the tone beautifully. My fiancé’s peach Bellini was bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced—she couldn’t stop smiling after the first sip. My Long Island was dangerously smooth, one of those drinks that reminds you why classics become classics when done right.
Then came the appetizers, and honestly… wow. The mozzarella with brown sugar was indulgent and comforting in the most surprising way—sweet, creamy, and absolutely addictive. The French onion soup felt like a warm hug in a bowl, rich and deeply flavorful, the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate it.
Dinner only raised the bar higher. The smash burger was everything it should be—juicy, flavorful, and unapologetically satisfying. The steak sandwich was equally incredible, tender and bold, every bite reminding us that this kitchen knows exactly what it’s doing.
By the end of the meal, we didn’t just feel full—we felt happy, taken care of, and incredibly grateful. This wasn’t just a restaurant visit; it was part of a milestone in our lives, and it will forever be tied to the joy of that day.
We will absolutely be coming back, without question. And when we do, we hope Max is there—because service like his doesn’t just elevate a meal, it turns it into a memory.
