3 /5 Thu L.: We came across Duke’s Seafood in Bellevue after looking through many dining options in the area. Since this brunch was planned to meet someone special, we were hoping for a more upscale and relaxed experience and decided to try Duke’s.
We arrived without a reservation around 1 pm, and the restaurant was fairly empty. After a short wait, they were able to seat us. We were told that the window tables were all “reserved,” even though most of the tables remained empty throughout our visit.
The service was one of the highlights. Our server was very nice, professional, and patient, giving us plenty of time to decide and offering helpful recommendations. The complimentary sourdough bread was also a nice touch.
I expected the food to be on the expensive side, but the portions felt quite small for the price. While the food was good, it felt more costly than expected for a brunch portion. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with great service and atmosphere, though the value didn’t fully meet expectations.
