Happy Autumn Vietnamese Restaurant - Renton (WA)

4 /5 Brandon Collins: Came in with a craving for Vietnamese food and decided to bring the family along. I ordered the Bún Bò Huế, a dish I usually love, but this time it was just okay—good enough, but I definitely found myself wishing I had chosen something else. My wife, on the other hand, really enjoyed her vermicelli bowl, and my son was happy with his bánh mì, so they clearly picked better than I did. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but if I come back, I’ll definitely try something different .

5 /5 Mark Hume: Wow! Vietnamese done right!!! Excellent food, authentic. Lovely people, kind, professional, and attentive. Very good location, great atmosphere, not loud or overly busy. Delicious indeed. Their portions are large!

5 /5 Adrien Hello: Great restaurant with very reasonable prices, and very good food for the area. The highlights for me were the banh mi and the homemade lime juice. The waiters were also very helpful without being intrusive.

2 /5 Andrew Faulkner: While I have had a good experience here before, the last was the end of that. The sampler plate for $12 consisted of frozen goods that more than likely came from the nearby QFC. It was genuinely a sampler, one of everything on the plate except for fries. Not worth sharing with anyone. Fries? Vietnamese? Why is that even a thing. The grilled pork rice dish was finally served and I highly doubt its ever seen a grill. The meal was colder than the sampler and most of it seemed pre-cooked long before it had been ordered. It had a decent flavor but felt held back based on how long it must have been sitting. The salad or greens that were added to the dish had brown spots and appeared to be wet (slimey) where the coloration was. The service was fine but to be served food like this was a major disappointment. I was extremely excited to come here prior but will not risk another attempt here again. Eat at your own risk.

4 /5 Camille S: Came by the other day to enjoy some hot pho on a rainy day. The servings sizes are great, the staff was super nice, and the food came out really fast. I ordered the steak and brisket pho, and although it wasn’t the best pho I’ve ever had, it was delicious enough I’d come back again.
