04-2025 Appliance Hospital in Best 18 MEDICAL SERVICES near Vancouver, WA (Part 2)Vancouver Direct Primary Care - Vancouver Anita Reyes: Meeting with Ed Kaufman was quite nice.
He explained the group program thoroughly.
We then went over my health history. He is an attentive listener and answered my concerns.
The appointment was a positive experience.
Vancouver Clinic | Salmon Creek 2 - Vancouver Steve Davis: I am shocked that this place is a medical facility. I went in a few months ago for a physical with some known concerns. The medical provider I saw was pushing a colonoscopy even though I am not at risk for it. Meanwhile, I cant even get them to have me hooked up for a take home heart monitor for what I suspect is A-fib. I sent a couple of messages to my care team, and they said they would send the referral again. Almost 3 months after the initial appointment, Ive heard nothing. Their billing department is on top of things, though. Theyre not willing to work on affordable payments and will send you to collections fairly quickly, though.
Update: after 4 months I finally got a call from the cardiology department. The Vancouver Clinic has an utter lack of communication, and I would avoid getting any care at this place because it will take forever for referrals to get anywhere. I also ended up paying my bill in full since they will not take payments stretched out beyond 6 months, regardless of the bill.
Kaiser Permanente Salmon Creek Medical Office - Vancouver Kathaleen Parker: My recent visit to the Kaiser Salmon Creek Medical offices for a Scan procedure was an easy experience in Vancouver WA.
The campus had good parking, easy freeway access and made the appointment process comfortable, professional and friendly. Although there were lots of patients there on the day of my Radiology appointment, I was done and on my way home quickly. The Radiology clinician explained her process with kind professionalism. The organization and quality trained staff is making my rating of the Kaiser Permanente Salmon Creek campus a 5-star experience.
Urgent Care | Vancouver Clinic Salmon Creek 2 - Vancouver John Breen: They are not Urgent Care in terms of billing your insurance. They are a "Stand Alone" facility and will bill your insurance as a "Office Visit" not urgent care. Took our daughter in who was sick and she was swabbed for strep & flu. They billed us toward deductible near $700 and we owed over half of that after insurance. We went to Urgent Care knowing that our insurance allows a lower cost Co Pay but they are playing games. They have Urgent Care all over the place but will not bill as urgent care. This is complete false advertising and based on the other reviews saying the same, one should take this to KGW Investigates.
Adapt Behavioral Health at PeaceHealth Southwest Specialty Clinic - Vancouver Kaylee Perry: Im only giving 5 stars because the staff here is nice and they listen well and always help out when my husband has stomach episodes. My husband and i came in again today first time in a few months hes gotten sick like this, he has a cancerous cyst in his esophagus that causes issues with his stomach so he’s on a special diet until we find out what triggers him. Sometimes he eats something that sets him off and he ends up puking and dry heaving until he cant stand and he can’t keep any fluids down so i bring him here to get an IV with fluids so he doesnt dehydrate! The doctors, the nurses, the medical assistants, everyone here is wonderful they always listen to me and do great with him. What saddens me is today i was in the waiting room with him and there was a hand full of people staring at him while he was puking and dry heaving, and making comments and telling people not to sit next to us because they thought he was contagious even though i had clarified he is not and that its a pre existing condition. It became so uncomfortable to the point i wheeled my husband into the hallway and waited there and stood in front of him so no one could stare. Everyone in the waiting room didnt even show signs of being sick, no one was coughing or puking or pale or had any visible sickness. They all just sat around on their phones chit chatting and staring at my husband and making comments, and half of them got into a room before my husband who is in agonizing pain. One of the women in there kept announcing that she had cancer, and was even being disrespectful to the staff, and talking down of the staff saying no one here knows how to do their job, she offered me these odd candies for my husband and I politely turned her down and she immediately caught an attitude. Y’all need to grow up. Im sure if you were in my husbands position or my position you wouldn’t enjoy that either. So folks think before you speak.
Urgent Care | Vancouver Clinic Battle Ground - Battle Ground noelle Meade: Im not usually a Karen If i could give 0 stars i would! My mom broke her arm on a Saturday morning, they said they would send in a referral, in which they did not. So now shes not being seen until Thursday. Very upset will not ever be letting her back here. They also forgot to take her rings off which I had to get cut off due to swelling. Horrible
Main Street Family Medicine - Vancouver Anela Kepa: I recently signed my son up for this clinic, hoping to receive quality direct care for his health needs. We provided all the required information, including immunization records and payment, and agreed to commit to a year-long treatment plan as per their policy. However, after completing the sign-up process, the clinic suddenly expressed concerns about how long my son would live in the area, despite our clear commitment to him staying here for at least a year.
Instead of having a conversation to clarify or resolve this, they abruptly refused to take him as a patient. Their only communication was through a couple of brief text messages—no phone calls, no explanations, no opportunity to discuss the situation. This lack of empathy, compassion, and basic communication is deeply disappointing.
This clinic’s actions and lack of accountability have left us feeling frustrated and undervalued. If you’re looking for a healthcare provider that treats you with respect and communicates effectively, I would not recommend this place.
Updated: This provider responded with more information in this review than they even discussed and still no one has made any effort to discuss this situation over the phone. My son has no special needs, we just hadn’t officially decided exactly how long he was staying until today, only 2 days after signing up for your service. The decision of us not being a good fit was not discussed with us as we were only told that the reasoning behind not working with us is that they can’t take payments if the patient isn’t here, in which we did respond that the patient will be here for the next year. Word of advice, pick up the phone when your customers are asking to discuss something. Not everything should be discussed in a text.
New Heights Clinic - Vancouver Jacob alaniz: Had a tooth pulled. Have to say it was the best dental expirience that Ive ever had. I just want to thank everyone there. Very kind, compassionate, timely, and very knowledgeable. I have always gotten nervous when i would have to go to the dentist, this time was no different. There wasnt one person in the entire place the didnt or wouldnt of went out of the way to make me feel calm. Wonderful people through and through. Highly recommed this clinic. Thank you all for your help.
