4 /5 Brett Crowe: This shop is 100% honest and will not pull the wool over the customers eyes for their own benefit. They would be 5 star if not for the forgetfulness during the estimate phase and the difficulty following instructions. Often auto repairs can go from a simple “get it road worthy” repair to an expensive “cut no corners” project without the process being relayed back to the customer. Its great to have EVERYTHING in perfect working order but not so great if you did not ask for all the work to be done and you get stuck with a much higher bill than you authorized. The silver lining to this constructive criticism is that the shop is willing to work with the customer to make it right regardless of what happens. Ive had multiple cars worked on here and Ive even had them look at the same job after the work was complete to make it 100%. They are very accommodating. In my opinion an honest shop is far more valuable than an efficient and cheap shop.

5 /5 karen dorsch: I don’t normally write reviews. But I’ve been coming to B&L for a few years now with my Subru Forester. Jim is the only one I trust to fix any issue with my car. When someone asks me if I know a good mechanic Jim at B&L is the one that I recommend. He really goes above and beyond for you. He searches for the best deal and when he fixes your car it’s done correctly and quickly. He doesn’t try to over sell or over charge. He does exactly what he says he’s going to do with great communication. If you are having problems with your vehicle check out his shop. Thank you again Jim!

5 /5 Ian Crane: Jim is very honest with good communication and charge is very reasonable prices. He put a new clutch in my 2008 Honda S2000 for quite a bit less than the price Google reported for estimated cost. Today I dropped off my 2006 Corolla XRS to diagnose a high idle issue and address some exhaust leaks. Jim is definitely trustworthy and is generally able to get my vehicle scheduled for service quickly.

5 /5 Scott Peterson: This shop was recommended to me by a friend and having taken my wifes Explorer there and explaining to Jim the owner what the issue was he was up front what it would cost to repair it and if anything else popped up he would call me before continuing. After the work was complete the bill was what he said it was with no surprises. Very honest and highly recommended.
