Sarah Cordell- Mendivel I got quoted $900 for an alternator from a place a friend recommended. So I called my nearest auto shop which luckily was Mikes. He quoted me $500 and when I drove it there he said the alternator looked fine, there was a missing cap and too much air. Didnt charge me a damn thing! Nice, knowledgeable guys! Thanks!

Diana Mast Took my 2008 highlander in for an AC issue. Gaynors mechanic did a whole engine check for us.we had some issue that needed to be addressed now. Was able to get the job done in a record time. I am very happy with out come. Have AC working now and new timing belt and new spark plugs. The mechanic Scott was great explaining everything he did.. the staff were great also. I am going back soon to get another area fixed. I would recommend gaynors for auto repair went to Hazelldell location. Thank you Diana

Stephanie Bombita I have a 98’ Jeep Cherokee & have had some major issues with it the past couple of months, so I brought it to Meineke for the first time and this whole process of getting several car repairs, Taylor & his team have been nothing but kind, attentive when I’ve called, beyond helpful, available to get me in and at very reasonable prices. They also offer a military discount which helped even more, with these big repairs. They got all the repairs done efficiently and correctly, they got me back on the road and I’ve been able to use the Jeep to go to work, without worries. Thank you guys! And I appreciate all of you and also appreciate Taylor explaining everything from beginning details to ending details, I highly recommend them! Honest, reliable, super reasonable and polite.

Sally Massey Friendly knowledgeable guys, not quite as fast as going to jiffy lube, but I’m way more confident in Minekes work and services. Using the coupon I had for the oil change I got done here was cheaper than going and buying the oil, filter, etc., and doing it myself! I will return to this location for my oil changes, using their great coupons I hope? Definitely a 5 star place in my book. Highly recommended.

Merry Berry If you are looking for an honest, reliable place to get car repairs or oil changes in Vancouver, I highly recommend Cascade Park Automotive. Its always nerve-wracking choosing a new car repair shop, but the owner, Justin, was upfront with me about what needs to be fixed now vs. what might need to be fixed down the road. He will not try to sell you on anything you dont need like so many other repair shops. Justin will save you money, and on top of that, he is communicative and courteous. Skip the chains and support this local business.

I didnt feel like I was being forced into buying a service that I didnt need and my advisor "JH" explained all of the recommended services and placed them in order of priority. Randy Barnes My first time here and everything went well! Had my used truck completely gone through for maintenance and to make any necessary repairs that were needed in order to make it safe to drive! The truck in my opinion had not been serviced in quite a while so almost everything needed attention! Needed so much work it took 2 days to complete, but was delivered on time and ready to go! My service adviser ( Lucky ) that helped me with everything was great! I will definitely go back for my normal service and for any needed repairs as the old truck will probably need more as it ages!

Simeon Muller Went in with problems created by another shop and they took care of me as if I had been their customer for years. They are upfront with them being short on staff but also they make sure they fix your problem even if it takes a bit longer. Honesty and quality over quickness will win me over every time. This will be our new go to mechanic.

The problem was quickly diagnosed, and repairs were completed the following day after the parts arrived. The owner here knows what hes doing and was also very nice to talk with. Megan G My tire blew out, and these professionals were able to fix it at a fair price. $35! As a single mom with not much savings that is a spectacular price. Moreover, Grace and Francisco provided excellent customer service, and ensured all of my needs were met during my visit. This shop doesnt JUST do tires though. I will be back for my brakes and a general tune-up. This shop I highly recommend because they are honorable comment trustworthy and get the job done right the 1st time. Check them out!!!

adam collins I have come here maybe 5 times because everytime ibgo, the do a fantastic job. Today, I came in for brake pad replacement, quoted me a time, and were done 15 minutes early. Awesome! Got into the vehicle and noticed a squeal coming from the area worked on. Rang them up, said, "Come back, and they will assess." Awesome. They did, and while there, my 26 year old vehicle popped a brake line. Normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this vintage. Not their issue as they simply replaced the pads. Ok Im going to spend some more time here. Thus is where its gets great. Not only did they genuinely care that my vehicle is broken, but they also sprung into action, called their supplier, parts showed up in under 10 minutes, and they were on it like white on rice. Got me back on the road, again, and bid me farewell. Customer service off the charts, thank you so very much. You saved lives tonight with your generosity and wonderful service. CrazyApfel I found myself suddenly in need of an emergency mechanic – here I am, out of town in Portland, OR, and my oil pan is busted. If only someone could come right here, on Memorial Day weekend, and fix it for me so I can go home(yeah right)! He contacted me back, and said he could help. Not only that, but he comes to where you are(no need to have it towed to a shop)! It wasnt an easy fix, but Rick uses all means at his disposal. When it seemed he wasnt going to be able to fix it over the weekend, he prepared to tow it for us. Then, with it on the tow dolly he realized what he could do differently, and fixed it. Theres still a couple things I need my mechanic to do for it to be completely repaired, but Rick & his team took care of me & my son, did locate a new oil pan, put it on, and got it running. I was able to drive it over 200 miles home instead of having it towed. An experience for my son, and my wife and I are very grateful! Rick is an amazing person, keeping his word, and his way is to think of a way to get it done, and do it. If youve ever had a mechanic friend help you by working on your car, its like that. He drove us to a hotel when we had to stay a night, and he is intentional to be affordable. A man with integrity, and he applies that to his business. If you are on the road in NW Oregon or SW Washington state and have vehicle troubles, give Rick a call!

Jose Montiel Would not recommend going to this guy. He replaced my timing belt and water pump on my car but he did it incorrectly he had missing blots and loose bolts and he bent some stuff also he was avoiding my calls and text when he knew he messed up my car. Avoid this guy It doesnt seem like he knows what he is doing. Edit:No one else but Ricks mobile mechanic and the shop that fixed his mistakes worked on my car. I dont know where he got that multiple people work on it or how he would know. And it was about a week after he worked on my car that it started making a horrible grinding noise and I told him right after it happened. So I dont know about the several weeks later when it was around a week and I had barely driven it just to work for about 4 days that is about a 7 minute drive. Posted pictures to show proof. Got my car nov 22 and it started having problems dec 2 and a picture of what the shop found and fixed.

Lincoln Wakefield Intended on purchasing a set of tires, MY BAD- they were the wrong size. Super friendly, great communication, quick to respond- all around GREAT service. Again, the wrong tire size was my fault.

Shawn Polston I was in need of a second opinion for an issue with my Jeep and I was referred to CG Autowerks by another shop that couldn’t get me in. Well, I now have a new solid mechanic to go to. Craig is legit and will be straight up with you and has fair prices. Sure you can always find someone to do a job for cheaper but at the end of the day, quality of workmanship and knowledge oversee saving a couple bucks. I picked up the weekend warrior on Friday and was out in the muddy Offroad trails on Saturday with no concerns. Appreciate you and your team

Robyn Campbell Absolutely amazing service from start to finish! Kevin was extremely friendly, easy to talk to very personable. The mechanic that looked over my vehicle was so thorough. It blew my mind. The inspection alone was amazing as well as the work that was done to My Nissan Xterra took it in for an exhaust leak and they found the problem fixed it. At a very affordable price. Definitely would use them in the future for any other car issues!

Holli Rapp These guys are amazing! My truck broke down two days before a big camping trip. I had it towed to them after reading so many positive google reviews. The problem required dropping the transmission to replace two parts. I thought there is no way they are going to be able to get my truck back to me in time for my trip. They did it! I am so grateful! They have a really cool way of sending their planned procedure via text with pictures for your approval. They took the time to explain what needed fixed and why. They also showed me the damaged parts that were replaced. I highly recommend this business. Just wanted to add that they did check up on me a couple days later to make sure everything was running smoothly. Put over 600 miles towing jet skis without any problems.

Brett Crowe This shop is 100% honest and will not pull the wool over the customers eyes for their own benefit. They would be 5 star if not for the forgetfulness during the estimate phase and the difficulty following instructions. Often auto repairs can go from a simple “get it road worthy” repair to an expensive “cut no corners” project without the process being relayed back to the customer. Its great to have EVERYTHING in perfect working order but not so great if you did not ask for all the work to be done and you get stuck with a much higher bill than you authorized. The silver lining to this constructive criticism is that the shop is willing to work with the customer to make it right regardless of what happens. Ive had multiple cars worked on here and Ive even had them look at the same job after the work was complete to make it 100%. They are very accommodating. In my opinion an honest shop is far more valuable than an efficient and cheap shop.

karen dorsch I don’t normally write reviews. But I’ve been coming to B&L for a few years now with my Subru Forester. Jim is the only one I trust to fix any issue with my car. When someone asks me if I know a good mechanic Jim at B&L is the one that I recommend. He really goes above and beyond for you. He searches for the best deal and when he fixes your car it’s done correctly and quickly. He doesn’t try to over sell or over charge. Chris Harrison My experience at jrods automotive today was fantastic, I dropped off a 72 international travelall in the morning at the scheduled time I got personalized attention from the owner. I explained the issues I was having with my vehicle and left. I have experience with these vehicles in particular and they need to be in the hands of a skilled mechanic to say the least. All of the items I was hoping to have corrected were complete by the end of the day and the repairs were explained to me very well. my favorite part... the price!! when I heard how much my bill was for their services I was relieved that here was a business that provides excellent service with very modest prices. john paul wallway My van was vandalized / damaged during an apparent break-in at their shop parking lot. They said they are not liable. They have no parking lot cameras and no fences: be ware. I dropped off my van the day they requested. I received no call for two days. They then asked me what was wrong with it, even though I had talked to them on the phone and repeated the information on the drop off card. It was having some problems accelerating and dying, and an auto parts store had shared the error code with me. The shop didnt call me for another two days for the next call. They said there was nothing wrong with the van to and I needed to come pick it up. Thats when I discovered the break-in attempt. They did not indicate that they knew about it. They said they are not liable. So, thanks for not fixing my van and returning it with ~$500 of damage.

As much as I love sending business their way, its one of those atmospheres and places that you do kind of wanna keep it a secret. Its not a big place or fancy. Ive sent a couple of good friends in there and they were just in shock of the atmosphere in the feeling that you can trust people that youre talking to there. I was worried theyd say I needed a whole new AC system, but they were honest and let me know it was just a valve that needed replacing. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and Ill definitely be getting help from Gaynors in the future.

Instead of just giving me the bad news and a repair estimate, they took the time to research and discovered that my vehicle’s make and model was part of a class action lawsuit for the exact issue I was experiencing. Jennifer Chamberlin Hands down, the best auto shop, Ive ever worked with. The owner has extremely fair pricing and excellent integrity. I had my water pump replaced and a very hard electrical/fuel pump repair. They are kind and thourough and definitely go above and beyond with their customer service. I highly recommend this shop for all of your mechanical repairs. This is definitely my "go to" shop from now on!!!

Alisa Hauser Repaired my rear end brakes, wheel bearing, rotors, wheel seals and differential fluid and put in new brake calipers. After my tire started overheating and smoke coming out I had to stop the car and get it towed. They also have a relationship with Daniel, a local tow driver who towed me there for $100. As a woman, I was always TERRIFIED to take my vehicle in to an automotive place by myself and try to describe what it needed…my dad or husband at the time would always take care of that for me. Zach Fernandez was the Service Advisor I worked with and he was AMAZING !!! Zach was respectful, professional, and really listened to what I had to say. He took the BEST care of my TOYOTA SUV and even received it back to me so that I could report back to work and get back to what I needed to do in my life.
