The Beehive salon is very relaxing, it feels more private and not crowded on the floor like other salons. The front desk staff were rly nice as well. I feel like he always knows what to do for my hair to keep it healthy or get it back on track when it needs a boost and his styles and skill set are among the best, hands down. I see the work of all of the stylists, they all do beautiful work and they are all so committed to beautfiul, healthy yet stylish hair. Beautiful, HEALTHY and stylish. They are all pretty easy going and friendly. The owner, Taco, along with his assistant Wilena have upbeat personalities (I always get a good chuckle about something or other while Im getting my hair done). I love them and the work they do. The best.

You can tell the salon is trained for curly and has curly hair products. She is truly an expert in her field. Everything from the shampooing, cutting and hair styling is done so well. We have great beard barbers where I live in SE Portland so I wasnt sure what to expect. Adrian did a fantastic job. Both he and Yvey provided feedback, asked great questions and were committed to getting it just right. They are skilled, friendly craftsmen who took pride in their work. Tyler Dierdorff: Kim has been cutting my hair for 10-15 years now and I cannot say enough good things about her and the consistency of the service she provides. I never have to worry about getting my hair cut with her. She is efficient and can cut and style many ways. She also cuts my toddlers hair from time to time and is great with kids. Just make sure to make an appointment in advance, she is busy because she is that good!

Curly hair is very hard to cut especially when it’s wet. She also does an excellent job coloring my hair because she’s very thorough and takes her time to ensure my roots are fully covered. Julianna Lucciano: I cycled through a lot of stylists when I moved to Seattle trying to find someone who “gets” my hair, and eventually (finally!) found Alexander Scott - I’ve been going to Alexander for a two years now and I love that I can trust him to guide me on color and cut. I get so many compliments on my hair from people wanting to know where I go, and I’m always happy to point them to Alexander. I’ll bring in a handful of inspo photos and ask how he’d apply the general vibe to my hair, and he always comes up with something amazing that works well for my hair goals, and explain how he gets there. He also gently guides me away from ideas that might not have been the best from me, and suggested alternatives, which I so appreciate. I don’t spend a lot of time styling my hair and don’t want to have to get touch ups every few weeks, and the color technique Alexander does allows me to go a few months between appointments. I really appreciate how he knows my hair goals and does my hair in a way that works with my lifestyle and the time (or lack or) I have for daily maintenance / styling. Also, shoutout to his dog Oliver. I book my appointments on days Ollie is at the salon… sweetest bub in the world. Thanks Alexander!
