04-2025 Kim Studio in Top 21 Reviews Nail and Spa Seattle, WA new updateStructure Salon - Seattle Julianna Lucciano: I cycled through a lot of stylists when I moved to Seattle trying to find someone who “gets” my hair, and eventually (finally!) found Alexander Scott - I’ve been going to Alexander for a two years now and I love that I can trust him to guide me on color and cut. I get so many compliments on my hair from people wanting to know where I go, and I’m always happy to point them to Alexander.
I’ll bring in a handful of inspo photos and ask how he’d apply the general vibe to my hair, and he always comes up with something amazing that works well for my hair goals, and explain how he gets there. He also gently guides me away from ideas that might not have been the best from me, and suggested alternatives, which I so appreciate.
I don’t spend a lot of time styling my hair and don’t want to have to get touch ups every few weeks, and the color technique Alexander does allows me to go a few months between appointments. I really appreciate how he knows my hair goals and does my hair in a way that works with my lifestyle and the time (or lack or) I have for daily maintenance / styling.
Also, shoutout to his dog Oliver. I book my appointments on days Ollie is at the salon… sweetest bub in the world.

VAIN - Seattle Shannon Patterson: I see Ellie at the Capitol Hill location and she is great! I love every haircut I have gotten from her and she also just did some hair tinsel for me. They are really communicative around appointment confirmations and changes. I think their pricing is a really good value, which is really refreshing. I also really appreciate that the vibe is positive and the people there really seem to like each other. I also really appreciate that the music is never too loud. Call me old.
Hair Gallery Salon - Seattle Nova: New to the area for work I saw a client whose haircut always seemed stylish, fresh and perfectly faded, cut and quaffed. I asked Him who does his hair and after seeking Her services He said “Grace” at Hair Gallery Salon. Grace is the BEST Hair stylist I’ve seen in Seattle! She is precise, extremely affordable, gentle, focused, listens and I always feel like she cares and I leave a new man ready, fresh & professional for work and play! Thanks so much for all your hard work, I definitely recommend Her services!
Salon Mérite - Seattle Tahlia Edgar-Chalker: The salon itself was beautiful, and Jedediah was very friendly. However, my experience was less than ideal. I had booked a haircut, but it was clear that he had overbooked himself. I was asked to arrive 15 minutes late, and when I got there, another client was still in the chair. I waited another 10 minutes or so, and when it was finally my turn, Jedediah listened to what I wanted but didn’t ask many follow-up questions about the style. He washed my hair, but before finishing the cut, another client arrived for her appointment. He then asked me to wait while he started her color, leaving me sitting with wet hair and a half-finished haircut for about 15 minutes.
Once he returned, he rushed through the rest of the cut, and when he began blow-drying my hair, another client showed up to wait. At this point, there were three clients waiting on one stylist. The blowout was rushed and didn’t look great, and the layers in my hair were choppy and not at all what I had asked for. In the end, he offered the cut for free as an apology, which I appreciated. While Jedediah was kind and polite, it was clear that he had overbooked himself and was unable to give me the attention I needed.
Hair Salon K - Seattle Jason Diu: Ive been coming to this salon for the past few years, and I always leave happy. The husband-and-wife duo who run it are super sweet! It can be a bit pricey but the consistency and quality is worth it, and keep me coming back.
Highly recommended, especially if youre looking for a more Korean style.
Sugar & Shears Salon And Organic Spa - Seattle Didy Koc: I recently got a haircut, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. It’s important to emphasize that while people may have good intentions, they should not take customers’ hair and time for granted. My hair is long, quite thick, and straight. I spent three months growing it. Now, I have a short haircut with different lengths from side to side. The fact that the business did not offer a refund due to a non-refund policy ( which I find unreasonable) for my dissatisfaction was even more upsetting after I lost my hair. The business owners offered to give an adjustment cut, but as a customer who lost trust, I don’t want to return to this business again. Businesses should prioritize their customers’ satisfaction, especially if they hope to regain their customers’ trust after a loss.
Salon de Vera - Seattle Aubrey Remedy: I did one of the "shine and hydrate plant infusion" treatments after my hair color and three people said they "loved my highlights," which I didnt get! My hair was super shiny, as if I had done a gloss, for about 3 weeks. Highly recommend if you are wanting some extra pop in a way that adds health to your hair. Kince does such a great job and always works to improve his service offerings. My hair is so healthy since coming to see him.
Liana Hair Salon - Seattle Diogo Magalhaes: This place is absolutely amazing! Liana and Victoria are incredible stylists. My wife even started coming here because of them. Liana consistently gives me the best haircuts I’ve ever had, and Victoria cuts and styles my wife’s hair perfectly. They’re both lovely, thoughtful, and delightful people too!
