5 /5 Samantha Kaye: Absolutely beautiful water views. Tables and beaches every 20 ft or so. We went on a Monday and it was relatively busy but not overly loud or crowded. Also, very very dog friendly. The lady with the kayaks and paddleboards is also extremely kind and fair priced..

3 /5 Building Sea: Parking spikes not marked! Careful parking here. Its one way and no signage or warnings about the tire spikes! Free parking is fine. Good paved trails and nice little beach access. We like to walk our dog here. Beach sometimes trashed from beach parties and homeless traffic. 3 1/2 stars, overall a good little spot for a walk.

5 /5 Alexis Sade: Beautiful spot to hang out and relax! Water was freezing when I went but that’s the pacific for ya! It didn’t stop some from cold dipping and kayaking. I was graced with a playful seal that followed and flirted with me as I strolled down the beach. Sand was soft not muddy. Great place for a bonfire, to take the kids or a romantic stroll. If you look closely at my video you can see the playful seal

5 /5 Faith Spencer: This is a lovely little beach. Theres a little bit of tree line where you can get some shade and lots of nice clean sand. If I had one complaint it would be the waterweeds that grow in clumps, but theyre pretty sparse and easy to avoid. Be aware that this is a really popular spot for campfires so theres a lot of burried firepits.

Esther Short Park and Playground - Vancouver

Evan Davis: Great park with a playground if you have kids. Fun events throughout the summer down here. The trees are nice for shade on those hot days. Very clean. Bathrooms. Fountain area as well for the summer time.

Waterfront Renaissance Trail - Vancouver

Sameer Sultan: Discovered this trail by the Strava suggestions as I am new here. Lovely trail which for most parts runs along the Columbia River. If you are lucky you can spot ships crossing beneath the bridge. Some parts of the trail is near the road well shaded. Near the harbour loading area you cannot go near the river. It’s along the road then joins the Maritime Park. The trail is 4.5 miles and there is ample free parking. If you want to extend the run then take the road across the Marriott then join the newly developed Vancouver waterfront which is another beautiful place.

Captain George Vancouver Monument - Vancouver

Cynthia Scott: This monument was erected in 1992 in honor of Captain George Vancouver of the British Navy who did a 4 & 1/2 year voyage (1791-1795) of the Pacific Northwest with this reviews emphasis on the beautiful Columbia River area which took place in the year of 1792. Unfortunately I did not get a photo of the life size bronze statue of Captain George Vancouver himself which is located on the north side of City Hall, but I will be back in the area again very soon so I will be sure to add that update to this review. I found it interesting that Captain George Vancouver also discovered 3 very loved mountains here in the Pacific Northwest: Mt. Rainier, Mt. Saint Helens, and Mt Hood. The entire Vancouver Waterfront Columbia River area is absolutely breathtaking and is rich in history. There is so much to see. If you have not been here, you are in for a treat!

Pearson Air Museum - Vancouver

Andy Smith: If you are visiting Fort Vancouver, the whole site is worth visiting, including the visitor center and Pearson Air Museum. The air museum is quite small, but has some lovely planes and a great deal of information on historical escapades. I would definitely recommend walking (or driving) over here from Fort Vancouver. Walking over, you also get a good view of Pearson airfield.

Old Apple Tree Park -

Nokes T (Calapooyas): Its sad to find out the old tree died a few years ago. My 75 year old mother recently shared her childhood memory of visiting the old tree on weekend road trips.

Linda Wenzinger: This is a beautiful little park with a small loop trail and a few shoots off the main trail. I was there around 11:00 am on Friday and no one else was there. There is no way to drive into the park so you need to park on the street in the neighborhood outside of the park
