5 /5 Brett Binder: Ive been coming here since I was a baby (now 42). I keep coming because of the emphasis on teaching the Bible. Not just a few verses but the entire Bible. Usually a chapter or half a chapter every Sunday. Jon Sane is the pastor and doing an excellent job. Come and be blessed!
1 /5 Tammy Sheridan: Toxic church leadership. You call them out on their absurdly bad behavior and theyll call you names, gossip about you, and kick you out of the church. I guess not everyone is welcome at this church. Be careful what you share. They wont keep your confidence and theyll throw you under the bus and negate responsibility. Havent been back to church in 7 years thanks to the damage this place caused. Be careful there. Also, they removed my original review because it was too honest for them and they dont want to be accountable for their awful behavior.
5 /5 Graham B. Knowles: Great Church. Love the Music and the Messages. Friendly folks. A great Church Home if you are looking for one.
5 /5 Lance Golder: Wonderful place to worship our Heavenly Father. Warm friendly atmosphere. Pastor Jon is straight forward, caring, and family oriented. Let the truth set you free.
5 /5 Brett Ariss: Love this church. Come as you are. It’s also nice to get coffee from the espresso stand and watch the service on the projector. The Pastor is wonderful. God is good. Thank the lord for a church like this.

Amanda Jones: This is a fantastic church that is open and welcoming to all. The two pastors are kind and loving. The sermons are current, interesting, and usually have just a bit of humor in them. People here are very friendly and genuine. The choir director has a long, distinguished career with world famous choirs and offers incredible voice trick, vocal health advice, and general teaching of musicality. You have two options: the early service is a more social meeting where time is built in to discuss questions from the pastors with others at your table. The second service is in the traditional sanctuary with the choir performing and the chance to be in a big, beautiful space. The youth here are some of my favorite people. Theyre considerate, kind and lean in often to help the church community and to do projects for Olympia as a whole, while also being silly and light hearted and most definitely playing a good game of spoons whenever possible. If youre church shopping and looking for a church that is open and affirming, I recommend this church highly. Ive been very happy here and feel incredibly loved and cared for by the community and pastors that make up this church.
    Hope Community Church - Olympia
Abby Dyck: Hope is a fantastic, Christ-centered church! The preaching is faithful to Gods Word and always keeps the Gospel central. I am so thankful to be able to call Hope my church family!
    Capital Christian Center - Olympia
Stylez Major: This place changed my life. I used to spend my time in bars and clubs looking to connect. But with capital Ive found real connection. You feel welcome genuinely every time you visit. The worship is amazing with a great leader. Dave is great at what he does. I used to think church was all about money. But the value you get from this church money cant buy, the relationships and love. I found a new family.
    Harbor Church - Olympia
Dale Peash: Great church and the people are real Felt like home, not a corporate church striving to be biggest. This church preaches the Gods word.

St Johns Episcopal Church - Olympia
Kathleen: Im not a religious person, but we were invited by a neighbor who is the musical director of this church to watch a show, The Lute Legends Collective. This group is comprised of three musicians from different cultures each playing the version of the lute that came about in each culture. The three performers were Chinese, Palestinian, and Canadian, and they not only played, but they also shared information enjoy the history of how a common instrument, the lute, evolved in each country. They had played at Benny Royal Hall the night before, so this was indeed a unique opportunity to see this caliber of performance in our community. The church is also progressive and welcoming to all, which is in line with my morals and values. This made it comfortable to participate, knowing everyone is equally valued and welcome.
Grace Community Covenant Church - Olympia
Hans Funk: This is the first church in 9 years that I have almost immediately felt like I could call home. The worship team is one of the most diverse and eclectic groups I have ever heard, truly gifted and anointed - they play wonderful music. The messages I have heard really seem to come from the heart, and the congregation shares their prayer requests openly in service. Truly a welcoming, relaxed, and inviting atmosphere of community.
First United Methodist Church of Olympia - Olympia
Thomas: When I first began attending services, I was taken in by the friendliness of the congregation, its childrens moment/message during the service, and its incredible and robust music ministry (praise team, choir, and bell choir immediately come to mind). These are the elements that truly unite everyone and keep me attending (for now). While I am still attending services for now, it is very disturbing to hear the weekly messages/sermons. While God/Jesus is mentioned (seemingly in passing), it is not the main focus. There is far more mention of/ emphasis placed on political messages and comes across as a political push and/ or to place blame on certain societal demographics. The last truly uniting message was for Christmas 2022 (even the Easter message 2023 had numerous outright political mentions). There tends to be a fine line between faith and politics. The weekly messages have mostly crossed that line. Please focus on the UNITED in United Methodist, and on praising God and Jesus throughout the weekly messages, instead of dividing His Kingdom through the use of political rhetoric.
    Olympia City Church - Olympia
Dustan Reed: A wonderful community of Jesus people. The services are quick impactful and full of thought provoking insight on Jesus. No matter your walk of life they will take the time to get to know you as a person. I am very happy to call this my church.
