  • What Clients Are Saying about Church of Living Water (on GG)
5 /5 យូរ៉ាយ Uriah Lyford: Incredible worship experience and preaching of the word in a way that is authentic, vulnerable, and honest. Hard to find a community that feels safe to share our struggles while steel holding firmly to the call of becoming more like Jesus and contending for victory over those struggles. I was able to share openly about my past including several years of addiction and mental health issues and I was only loved all the more.
4 /5 Mike E: Wonderful people weve met here and a very welcoming church. Its too big of a church for us though and theres a lot of "production" in the service. But overall, a very nice place to worship.
1 /5 Lady: I called her spiritual help not financial and they sent me a list of f resources from the city. Thats pretty hands-off help if you ask me.
5 /5 Ellen Scott: Welcoming place to find hope, healing and others who love and serve Jesus
1 /5 Rosemary Woodbrook: Not at all as it seems. Seems amazing at first. Almost perfect. Upon futher attendance, realized they allow an unsafe teen working in nursery even after meeting with pastor about a said person who violated someone close to me and another child multiple ways and occasions. Their response: Not a care at all because it cant be proven. Pastor says he " would trust them with his grandchild" even after learning details of what was endured about multiple instances and completely disregarded us with zero regret. Its all a facade. We obviously left. Im completely beyond disgusted. No words for the complete lack of discernment with children who cannot speak and share what is happening and knowingly placeing someone atound these children who is dangerous. P.s. Your response to my original statement is a perfect example of the gaslighting we recieved when sharing the detailed information of someone close to us being molested by your nursery worker multiple times in an outside environment. Its incredibly concerning and disheartening you would completely invalidate our story yet claim to care so much for childrens safety and invite us back. We all know a minor would likely have a clean record, and all it means is that it wasnt a conviction due to them being a minor and other factors. Not that it simply didnt happen or was unsubstantiated. You asked us to "trust you" yet you didnt even trust us when we came to you with something detrimental and traumatic and totally invalidated the experiences and trauma. I will never support promote or condone such a church or attend somewhere that completely invalidates someones sickeing experience and allows them in the nursery with BABIES. There is nothing honest or just or Godly about it. Dont be fooled by the eloquently spoken words , and kind tone the actions and lackthereof speak loudly.

Stylez Major: This place changed my life. I used to spend my time in bars and clubs looking to connect. But with capital Ive found real connection. You feel welcome genuinely every time you visit. The worship is amazing with a great leader. Dave is great at what he does. I used to think church was all about money. But the value you get from this church money cant buy, the relationships and love. I found a new family.

St Johns Episcopal Church - Olympia
Kathleen: Im not a religious person, but we were invited by a neighbor who is the musical director of this church to watch a show, The Lute Legends Collective. This group is comprised of three musicians from different cultures each playing the version of the lute that came about in each culture. The three performers were Chinese, Palestinian, and Canadian, and they not only played, but they also shared information enjoy the history of how a common instrument, the lute, evolved in each country. They had played at Benny Royal Hall the night before, so this was indeed a unique opportunity to see this caliber of performance in our community. The church is also progressive and welcoming to all, which is in line with my morals and values. This made it comfortable to participate, knowing everyone is equally valued and welcome.
Grace Community Covenant Church - Olympia
Hans Funk: This is the first church in 9 years that I have almost immediately felt like I could call home. The worship team is one of the most diverse and eclectic groups I have ever heard, truly gifted and anointed - they play wonderful music. The messages I have heard really seem to come from the heart, and the congregation shares their prayer requests openly in service. Truly a welcoming, relaxed, and inviting atmosphere of community.
First United Methodist Church of Olympia - Olympia
Thomas: When I first began attending services, I was taken in by the friendliness of the congregation, its childrens moment/message during the service, and its incredible and robust music ministry (praise team, choir, and bell choir immediately come to mind). These are the elements that truly unite everyone and keep me attending (for now). While I am still attending services for now, it is very disturbing to hear the weekly messages/sermons. While God/Jesus is mentioned (seemingly in passing), it is not the main focus. There is far more mention of/ emphasis placed on political messages and comes across as a political push and/ or to place blame on certain societal demographics. The last truly uniting message was for Christmas 2022 (even the Easter message 2023 had numerous outright political mentions). There tends to be a fine line between faith and politics. The weekly messages have mostly crossed that line. Please focus on the UNITED in United Methodist, and on praising God and Jesus throughout the weekly messages, instead of dividing His Kingdom through the use of political rhetoric.
