I am sort of last minute so I choose whoever is available between the two of them. My most recent time I got layers for the second time in my life with Lenita. She recommended it to me the time before and I am soooo in love with my hair. She was quick and made the cut seem effortless. I will continue to come back here.
    1 /5 Manx: Avoid this place - I wish I would have. I went in for color & highlight & haircut - had pictures of what I requested - told it was not a problem. Unfortunately my hair did not come out anything like what I asked for. The response from the salon owner to my stylist ā€œa few more foils framing the face and it’ll be fineā€ & how she doesn’t have time & there’s no refunds. When I respectfully expressed my disagreement with the owner’s assessment- I was told the owner recommended that the stylist get me in the chair and straighten my hair and show me the color with direct lighting to show how texture and lighting affects the appearance of the color. other than that, the only difference she sees in the color is that the inspo pictures highlight are a lot brighter and ashier than your honey blonde, which is what you had me tone is down to since the original highlights were too bright for you. other than that it is the exact same red and brown color applied to your hair in the exact same application that any of us stylists know how to do. 1) the highlights I requested be ā€œtoned downā€ were not ā€œtoo brightā€ - they were too grey. It literally looked like the natural grey in my hair. (Also - those grey highlights were only on top of my head - the rest of the highlights throughout my hair were a kind of honey to light brown color.) 2) why would I waste my time to go back to ā€œsit in a chairā€ so someone can straighten my hair and try gaslighting me. I have absolutely NEVER complained about my hair results anywhere before. I’ve gotten a poor hair cut from time to time from salons, it happens - I just take my business elsewhere for the next one. I’ve never had a bad color issue like this one, but to have a salon owner have such a dismissive attitude. Yeah, not a place I’d ever recommend anyone take their business. (Also - owner never even contacted me, all information was relayed by stylist) TL:DR - Avoid this salon, because the owner could not care less if the customer is happy or got what they asked for. And the prices are ridiculous! $65 for a basic hair cut.

April Brix: I would go a -5 stars if I could, this place ruined my hairstyle with a terrible, crooked, short cut right before my wedding. I asked for partial highlights and then the stylist colored my hair without asking and charged me a lot extra. And then I just had to pay it. I guess that’s their business model to give extra services without asking and then make their customers pay for it. Worst experience ever. And because I had such terrible service, I am now banned from their salon after asking for a partial refund to pay for having to get my hair fixed somewhere else. Their solution was for me to come back in and have a stylist ā€fixā€ it. I was actually sort of shocked that they didn’t offer a refund. In response to your response below, no, this was the photo before the fix, check your email again. I sent a couple of other photos that were the fix from another salon. Dosha did a great job. As I mentioned in my email to you, I recently moved close to this salon location and didn’t realize it was connected to the other location - I never really focused on the name of the place. I’ve just never been treated so badly and then to think of you banning people you do that to. Why didn’t your salon just immediately say they would at least pay for the fix? This big ā€œthreatā€ I gave was to report your practice to your own licensing organization to let them know. You saying I threatened you leaves people to believe an untruth, like I was a danger to your employees. That is far from the truth. That’s two falsehoods in your response, pretty bad.

isabella johnson: ****EMBER IS THE BEST STYLIST**** I havent had a haircut in three years and was very nervous for my haircut today. I had an appointment with Ember, and she immediately made me feel comfortable! I needed a trim and adding layers to my natural curls and she was FANTASTIC!! She did a great job with the trim and gave me exactly the shape I wanted. Kept my length as well. She had excellent customer service. If you ever need to get a haircut, I highly recommend going to Ember.

Sadie Goodwin: I would NOT recommend. Long hair with layers seemed to be difficult for TWO stylists. I didn’t think much of it when the one I booked with called a coworker over to help add layers until the next day. (My hair was styled and I didn’t notice & I don’t frequent salons often at all) . Missing sections of hair completely! I then realized I had TWO different haircuts. This will take years to grow back. Thankful for Nico Bella Salon in Camas for fixing as much as they could. When I put trust in someone to cut my hair I would not think to go back to the same person. My daughters booked us matching permanent jewelry appointments here also. The same evening one bracelet fell off. Went back in to get it re welded. Although the staff seems friendly, spending over $300 Red Chair Salon services are definitely not for me. The only satisfactory I came away with is the $1.00 hair scrunchies they sell.

I did a search and read through a few reviews on several salon websites and thought I’d give Majestic Elegance a try based on what I read. Wow - did I find a treasure! I was able to book an appointment within 2 days! I arrived to find a magical atmosphere - calm music, bubbling water, relaxing decor - and Tilly greeted me and made me feel like a longtime client. After a brief introduction and conversation she knew exactly what I needed/wanted. I’ve had bright pink hair for 4 years and during our move I’ve let it grow out - it seriously needed some magic … and that’s exactly what happened. I have, as Tilly exclaimed ā€œenough hair for two peopleā€ but that didn’t phase her. In the course of 2 hours (nearly 3) my hair was transformed into a beautifully blended color to allow my hair to continue to grow out and back to my natural color and the best ā€˜Bob’ haircut ever! I left feeling extremely happy with the results and I’m looking forward to my next visit. I know if I ever choose to go back to pink Tilly will take care of that too!

Debra Robertson: Went to go see Babs today. The 1st time I have been to the salon in at least a year I think. So she had to deal with a lot of box color residue and a shaggy head of hair. She gave me such an awesome amazing cut!!! This cut makes me feel absolutely gorgeous. The framing is perfect for my face the bounce is lovely. It falls right back into this gorgeous shape. The color is EXACTLY what I like best. I am walking around feeling beautiful and gorgeous. Important to note. I have ALOT of hair. SO MUCH HAIR. So I need to thin. But I have a natural curl, so if the stylist uses the thinning shears I get the short hairs that curl up and I walk around like a deranged poodle for months and months. Babs knew Exactly how to thin me, without those shears, into long loose layers. My hair feels light and bouncy and looks amazing. Also, she did an all over color, a thining and new shaping cut, a Brazilian blowout, AND an eyebrow wax in just about 2 hours. AMAZING to me who has been forced to sit in the chairs for 4 to 6 hours before for similar services. Other people have made comments about the price... but I found it extremely reasonable and comparable to other stylists I have been too. Overall color correction, awesome haircut with a perfectly executed thinning, a Brazilian blowout, and an eyebrow wax all told for 500 is very close to my last three stylists. So I dont think the price was a sticker shock at all. And for my amazing color and this stunningly gorgeous cut and style, I am extremely happy. I have already set my next months appointment. Am so happy to have find such an amazing stylist so close to me that I can get to so easily. Building.... parking is available!!! Building is lovely and old school break. The saloon is a beautiful space all told with lovely touches throughout.

Bonus she will schedule me late night as well and when your on a graveyard schedule it means the world to me. I have NEVER had any shop even offer to do that. Shes so patient especially when I have no idea what I want. Best of all she will even brainstorm with me and not make me feel rushed or like a burden. SHE IS AMAZING EVERYONE!!
